"Noah’s and Madison’s story is filled with a lot of different emotions throughout the book, them getting together was never going to be easy, and they will deal with a lot to try and make sure they stay together no matter what happens. A very emotional reading journey but well worth it, I highly recommend this brilliant book to everyone.❤️💔"

"out of the thousands of books i have read over the years, i can honestly say that none has effected me as much as this one has. to find not just one - but two - main characters (Noah and Maddison) with whom i felt an immediate to is nonpareil. both of them were constructed perfectly throughout their sage. i can't think of anything that ever felt awkward or contrived with either of them or throughout the entire story. there was a seamless, natural flow consistently. having grown up in a half Italian Catholic family, i could relate so well to what Noah was going through. although i was never exposed to the physical violence that Noah and Maddison had to deal with, coming from a small, conservative village i did have to deal with a lot of verbal ridicule growing up and that was another thing that brought this story to life for me. all the other characters involved in this story (Nona, Mr. Williams, Gracie, Mr. Hill, Connor) were developed and filled out very well and believably. the several epilogues following the ending were a wonderful touch. they brought me into the various things through the year that Noah and Maddison experienced (college, marriage, children, the re-emergence of Mr. Williams) that have helped to round out the story and lessen the sorrow of the book coming to an end. the amount and the depths of emotions that went through while reading this book were intense. even knowing that this is a work of fiction couldn't prevent tears of joy, sadness or anger coming to my eyes the whole time i was reading (i should say that this book was so compelling i had to read it all at once). this is a book i would highly recommend to anyone. "

"I just completed this beautiful book. It just took me a day to complete. The music paired with the chapters, the quotes written, the humour, the fluff level, and the feels, and everything everything about this book was amazing. I loved it inside out. Completely. This is the type of book I'd like to see on my bookshelf in paperback cover and this is the type of book I'd read again and again. The characters introduction, their growth, their conflicts, turmoils everything was well written. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves fluff and the best thing was there was no conflict between our boys, the conflicts were outside them, the people, the family caused conflicts. I hate too many misunderstandings and was so glad that our boys didn't have any amongst themselves. They protect and they've got each others back throughout. Am so happy to see them happy after nearly knowing eachother for 20 years and still bekng in so much love. Their family is adorable. I loved all of them. Thank you so much for writing such a beautiful book!"

"I have read books that grab your attention the moment you start to read the first chapter, and that is what this book is. This is, without a doubt, a book written from the heart. A story that takes you by the hand and shows you how truly remarkable people are when presented with issues, just like those that so many people experience daily, that often times seem insurmountable, but can be dealt with common sense and the right attitude and approach. I didn't want this to end...so, on that note, I have always wanted to see a couple in the lgbt+ community deal with some of the same little things that do many other parents deal with like... Dealing with a grumbly baby who is having a terrible time with a new tooth coming through. You know, the "What do we do?" to "Are you sure teething gel is enough? What about a teething ring, too?" Or dealing with the first time the child rode a bike and fell, scraping their knee's and the tears and panic that comes from that? And I don't mean the tears coming from the child but from one of the daddies who's concern about the child's pain so much that it affected them, too. I love anything you write. This is why you are my one of my favourite authors. "
