Awakening of darkness

"Do you remember how we first met?"

The voice did not come from the room.

It came from inside his mind—calm, steady, impossible to ignore.

"You were alone. Completely broken."

Silence filled the dark room, yet the voice continued as if it had always lived there.

"Six years ago… the day she died."

After remembering the incident his heart fill with guilt .

"You tried to fight it. The pain. The emptiness. You locked yourself away, believing time would heal you."

A pause.

"It didn't."

The voice softened—not with kindness, but with understanding.

"That was the day you called me. Not with words… but with despair."

He clenched his fists.

"I gave you a choice back then. Power. Control. Freedom from weakness."

The darkness inside him stirred.

"But you refused."

Its tone sharpened.

"You chose something else. Someone else."

A cold pressure spread through the room.

"You trusted her. You believed she would save you."

His breathing grew heavier.

"And what did she do?"

Silence answered.

"She stayed… until you lost everything."

The voice lowered to a whisper.

"Your strength. Your talent. Your worth."

Each word struck deeper than the last.

"And then…"

A pause.

"She erased you."

His heart pounded.

"To her, you were nothing more than a tool she no longer needed."

The darkness wrapped around his thoughts.

"You did not exist to her."

The voice became calm again—cold, controlled.

"But I never left."

A presence rose from within him, deeper than fear itself.

"I watched you fall."

Another pause.

"I watched you break."

The room grew colder.

"And now… you are ready."

The darkness pulled closer—older, deeper, alive.

"I am not merely a voice."

A pause.

"I am the shadow within you."

"Not something separate… something inherited."

The air trembled.

"You were never ordinary."

A quiet certainty entered his mind.

"You are a descendant of shadow—born to carry what others fear."

The presence grew stronger.

"My power. My legacy. It was always meant for you."

Silence.

"You did not find me."

The darkness moved like a heartbeat.

"I awakened… because the time has come."

Its voice dropped, final and absolute.

"Accept me, and I will raise you."

"Inherit the darkness…"

"Or reject it."
