Nighttime story chapter 1
Tell us a story please daddy said Zagreus Melinoe and Makaria fine then off to bed what should the story be about tonight said Hades as he pulls out his giant black book off the shelf. Melinoe asked for the story about how he saved mommy from the ice king, we already told us that story how about you tell us one of your adventures on earth hmmm interesting said Hades but you guys aren’t old enough just the ages of eight and ten and twelve years old he said and besides the last time I did one of you ran and told mommy on me as he sits on his water. That’s when he looked his beautiful creations in the eyes and said Makaria you pick and she said what about how you found mom on earth hmmm interesting he said that could work as he then sits down in his rocking chair and opens the book. That’s when Persephone walks in and said five more minutes then it’s off to bed the kids began to cry a little but we were fixing to hear how you in dad found each other when he was on earth. She puts the laundry basket down and then comes into the room and kisses her husband on the cheek and the kids say oh brother and then Zagreus said yuck I hope I don’t have kids when I grow up because girls are yucky and have germs and I don’t want them. You will one day said Persephone as kissed her son on the forehead and got into the bed with the kids, that’s when Hades begins the story. As he flipped to the story in the Big black book he said once upon a time there was a young god and beautiful young goddess named Persephone she was picking flowers in the most beautiful grassland she ever seen with her eyes. A beautiful flower appeared and she walked over to it and tried to take it that’s when the ground opened up and fire came out from the earth unlike she seen before she then falls to the ground. Before she could scream for help she was grabbed by the king of the underworld and taken by him to his realm and he tricked her later on into falling for him the end off to bed kids said Hades. Is that true mommy said the kids with the big eyes and mommy said no it’s not true.
