I don’t think any of you expected me to be writing ^o^ again. I mean... it has been a really long time.
Anyway, the point of this author’s note is just to give you a few things you should know before you dive in. Feel free to skip it if you’d like — it’s mostly warnings and disclaimers.

Everything in this story is pure fiction — completely my own ideas. The murder scenes aren’t graphic or “in your face,” but if that kind of thing makes you squeamish, it’s best to skim those parts.
This story is fully edited, but with the help of ChatGPT. The plot, characters, and writing are all mine; the AI just polished grammar and smoothed out the flow. I know some people feel strongly about AI, and that’s okay — this is your chance to decide if you’d still like to read the book.

I’ll also be working on another book while releasing this one chapter by chapter. I’ll stay consistent with updates every Saturday. It’ll be in the tags, but just so you know — this is a short story, 18 chapters in total.
As for the new book... I won’t say much yet, except that it’s connected to this one. I’m still figuring things out as I go.
