Prologue

3rd person POV
The screams of the fearful and pained mother echoed through the entire palace. Diana’s breath was getting more shallow as the third of the triplets came out. She was sweating with blood coming out of her body. The maids were straining to save her the pain, but they were useless. Nobody, not even the greatest royal doctor or magician in the world, could save her from dying.“Your name will be Athanasia, Atanasia, and Adanasia. Would love shower you forever.” Those were her last words. The palace was gloomy. Miserable. Depressed. Everyone cried, day and night. The princesses could also sense something bad happened, so all of them cried. Many maids tried to stay quiet. And they did. They told not a single soul, but eventually, the outside world found out.
When the words of the death of the empress came to the emperor’s ears, he went crazy. “Diana! Diana! Don’t leave me! Oh, my love! Don’t leave me!” The terrified servants and maids could only watch with fearful eyes. “Felix, you rule the Obelian empire. Lilian, you will be my daughters’ mother. You will not tell anyone or even think about any of this. This is my last order.” They both stared in shock, wondering if he was leaving the world, until… he grabbed the knife and pressed it into his stomach with tears streaming down his face. “Your majesty! Don’t!” Too late. They could only watch him crying out with broken hearts and lifeless eyes. “Diana… since you left me and won’t come back, I will come after you.”
Royal doctors tried their best to save him, shouting and crying to him to stay, shouting at each other to move faster. There was chaos. However, after all of that hard work, it was too late. He had lost too much blood. Many people mourned over their rulers’ death. The funerals of the emperor and empress was held on their daughters’ birthday. Lilian York and Felix Robane followed their majesty’s last order and married for their majesty’s sake, becoming the new emperor and empress.
