[Derra]:Some people come into your life… not to stay, but to change you.”“I didn’t know it then… but loving him would be easy.”“Letting go of the other one? That’s where everything breaks.”
Scene 1
[Cut to Derra laughing withfriends in a café]
[Andrew is watching her.]
Not staring… just softadmiration.
Sasha(derra bff):You’ve been smiling too much these days
Derra(laughs):“Abeg leave me.”
Sasha:“Is it not that Andrew boy?”
She doesn’t answer… justsmiles.
[Andrew walks up]
Andrew :“So you’ll just be laughing without me?”
Derra:“Maybe you don’t deserve it.”
Andrew(smirks):“Wow. After everything I’ve done for you?”
Derra:“What exactly have you done?”
Andrew :“I exist. That’s enough.”
She laughs.
[They’re walking togetherlater]
Silence… but comfortable.
Andrew :“You know… I like this.”
Derra:“Like what?”
Andrew:“You. When you’re not overthinking everything.”
She pauses.
[. Hersmile fades slightly]
(Derra):“He makes everything feel simple…”“…and that’s exactly what scares me.”
Quick flash (not too clear):A silhouette of another guy (A mysterious one)
Sasha CALLSIT OUT
Sasha :“You like him. It’s obvious.”
Derra:“I know…”
Sasha:“So what’s the problem?”
She hesitates.
Derra(softly):“There’s just… something.”
FORESHADOWING“HIM”
[Derra alone now,scrolling through her phone]
Old messages… but no namesaved.
Just emptiness.
She stops.
VOICEOVER:“Some people don’t leave…”“…they just disappear.”
BACK TO Andrew (THE PRESENT)
[Night. They’re sittingtogether quietly]
Andrew looks nervous.
Unusual.
Derra:“Why are you acting strange?”
Andrew :“I’m not.”
Derra:“You are.”
Pause.
He exhales.
THE QUESTION(CLIFFHANGER)
Andrew (serious now):“I need to ask you something.”
Her heart starts racing.
Derra:“Okay…”
He looks at her…carefully.
Andrew:“Are you really here with me… or is there someone else?”
scene Ends
Derra narrator :
