Chapter 1
Written by Matthew Sinn A.K.A. Sinbad the Mountain
My name is Dr. Sheldon Cooper. Who was currently at the home of my oldest friend Professor Neilson. That had gone mysteriously missing over a month ago and after he had send me a concerning letter. I had gone to his home with my friends Leonard, Howard and Raj. Only to discover his greatest invention within the basement while searching for him. A machine which would allow him to open a portal which leads directly into the television world as he would put it within his personal notes.A now fear that he's gone missing somewhere within this mysterious television world itself.
As my friends and I were still currently starring at the computer monitor screen in shock. As my dear friend Leonard began speaking. Something here doesn't make any sense you guys. For why would Professor Neilson go into the television world. At the risk of the machine switching off? While he's still in there? These were two very good questions as Raj began speaking. Maybe something happened here.A needed to hide somewhere, where nobody would surely look.
Hearing this Howard replied. From what exactly? This was another good question as I now began speaking. While I'll admit gentlemen. That none of us honestly know why he went in there? Yet alone who or what he was hiding from? But if he's really in there. Then I don't want to say it, but....someone has to go find him. Looking shocked here Leonard spoke. You can't be serious. For we've got no idea. On what exactly is in there. In a place that none of us have literally been too since....ever!
With me responding back. While that is obviously true. I'm not leaving until I know what happened to my friend. Even if it means....going through the portal. Looking even more shocked Howard reply. You can't be serious. For you and the rest of us have no idea on where exactly he's gone. Yet alone what kind of danger is lurking in there. With Leonard now replying. I'm with Howard on this one. For there's all kinds of crazy shows he could be on and millions of channels as well. Knowing there were sadly right.
I began thinking here before quickly looking through Professor Neilson's notes here before speaking. According to this. It seems Professor Neilson was sticking to kids shows. Since he wasn't sure on what kind of trouble he would run into. Yet alone the probe he had send in through the portal the first time. To make certain that it was safe. Hearing this Leonard respond back. Does it say what kind of show he's on? I told them. Thankfully yes. For it seems he's been watching repeating episodes of Inspector Gadget. But would be able to move around freely.
A avoid the dangerous areas within the episodes. Including its villains too. This made them feel awfully worried. But also a little less as Howard began speaking. As I was looking through more of my friend's notes. Alright....let's say you did go through the portal Sheldon. How exactly are you going to get back here to the portal? I soon answered his concerning question. It says here that in case he ever became lost. He setup an emergency blue blinking light. That would help lead him back. Yet alone anyone else who crossed through the portal.
Still looking worried here Leonard respond back. What if you get lost in there? While trying to find Professor Neilson? facing them I spoke. It's really simple. For if I can by any luck, find Inspector Gadget. Then I might be able to get him to help me find my missing friend. While you all stay out here to handle the machine and prevent it from switching off. While we're looking for Professor Neilson. Looking at me with concern Raj began speaking here. Sheldon....I know he's you'r friend. But what you'r suggesting here sounds crazy.
With me telling them. Not really. For it says here within his notes that while in the television world. You could communicate with those of actual cartoon and other variant characters. Which was very instrumental for Professor Neilson's research. They all found this kind of interesting. As Howard looked worried as he quickly asked. Hold on....what if you run into some kind of trouble? For no offence, but Inspector Gadget is....clumsy. I replied back after flipping through some pages and finding the answer I need. According to this.
I just have to follow three easy rules of avoid running into trouble. Which made Leonard ask. What kind of rules? With me answering back.
1; Don't ever have the machine shutoff while inside the television world. At the risk of getting trapped. Until the machine is turned back on.
2; Never Leave the show you'r on. For if this happens, then the risk of getting lost will grow and become harder to get out.
3; Don't ever let the characters leave the show their on. In fear it will cause what is called: The Glitch Bug.
Confused Raj asked. What's The Glitch Bug? I checked the notes here and began reading it out loud. It says that when a character moves around within a show that isn't their own. It causes them to develop a slow glitching process. That grows worse the longer they aren't within their show.
Plus if the television network notices anything unusual. Then there is a horrible risk that they'll shutdown the show. Which can't be allowed to happen. For if this happens. It will create what is only known as a Loop Trap. When one is trapped within the same repeating show their on. Putting that person or persons within terrible risk. Unless they are rescued by someone who isn't trapped within the show. Hearing all of this clearly didn't make my friends feel any better about this.
