Chapter 1: First Day in Hell
My name is Mansi Mehta. I am twenty-two years old. And this is the story of how my simple life turned upside down.
I still remember the day I got the offer letter from this big BPO company in Gurgaon. I was so happy. Finally, a job. Finally, some money of my own. I ran to my room and called Rahul immediately. We had been together since school. Everyone called us the perfect couple. We had already decided – one day we will get married, buy a small house, and live a simple, happy life with one or two kids. That was our plan. Nothing fancy.
But from the first day itself, I understood – life had other plans.
It was a night shift. When I reached the office floor, the first thing I felt was the freezing AC. The whole place was shining with white lights. Rows and rows of cubicles. People speaking in low voices on calls. Everyone looked tired but busy.
I was wearing a simple maroon salwar suit. Nothing special. But the moment I started walking, I could feel eyes on me.
I am 5’4” – average height for an Indian girl. Fair and smooth skin. Round, innocent face with soft chubby cheeks and naturally pink lips. My eyes are green – yes, green – which always gets attention. My long black hair was tied in a neat ponytail. I looked homely. Pure. The kind of girl every mother wants as her daughter-in-law.
But my body… my body always created problems.
I have firm 34C breasts that look round and perky even in loose clothes. A slim waist. And below that, wide hips and a juicy, round 34-inch ass that moves when I walk. No matter how much I try to hide it, people notice. Especially men.
That day, many guys were staring without any shame. Some looked at my chest, some at my hips. I felt my cheeks burning. I held my bag tightly and kept walking fast.
“New joinee?” a woman’s voice called out.
I turned and saw Neha ma’am, our Team Leader. She was around 38, tall at 5’8”, with a very heavy figure. Big 34D breasts and a massive round ass that her tight top and jeans could not hide. Bold red lipstick, smoky eyes. She looked confident and experienced.
“Come, beta. I’ll show you your seat,” she said with a sweet smile.
She was actually very nice. She explained everything – login, systems, process – and kept calling me “cutie” and “sweetie”. I felt a little relaxed with her.
Then I met Chris.
He was also 22, same height as me – 5’4”. Boyish face, thin well-groomed beard, soft eyes. His voice was gentle and slightly soft. He smiled a lot and talked with his hands. We started chatting during training and within ten minutes we were laughing like old friends. He felt safe. Like a sweet, harmless best friend. But I could see in his eyes – he already liked me more than just a friend.
Not everyone was like him.
During the tea break, a man named Deepak came and sat near me. He was 35-36, short, with bad skin, small eyes and a cheap smile. His shirt was untucked and his sitting style was all wrong. He looked… dirty.
“So, first day, madam?” he said, trying to sound friendly. “This office looks good from outside. But inside, things are different. You are too innocent, yaar. Be careful.”
The way he looked at my breasts while saying this made me uncomfortable. I just gave a small smile and looked away.
Then came the moment I will never forget.
A peon came and said, “Mansi Mehta? Ajay Sir is calling you in his cabin.”
My heart started beating fast. Ajay Sir was the Manager. Forty-four years old. Strong body but with a dad belly. Salt and pepper beard, sharp face. Everyone said he was powerful.
I knocked on the door and went inside.
“Close the door,” he said in a deep voice.
I sat down. At first, he asked normal questions – about my college, my family, where I was from. I was answering politely. But slowly, his eyes changed. He looked at my green eyes, then my pink lips, then openly at my chest. His gaze moved down to my waist and hips.
“You are very pretty, Mansi,” he said with a small smile. “This industry eats soft and innocent girls like you. But don’t worry. I take care of my team… especially good girls like you.”
While saying this, he leaned forward and took my hand in both of his hands. His thumb started slowly stroking my skin. He kept holding it for a long time. Too long. I felt awkward but didn’t pull my hand away. After all, he was the boss.
When I finally came out of the cabin, my hand was still warm from his touch. My mind was confused.
That night, after the shift ended, I went back to my PG and called Rahul.
“Hey baby! How was your first day?” he asked, sounding excited.
I smiled even though he couldn’t see me. “It was good, Rahul. Everything is fine. People are nice. Don’t worry.”
I laughed at his jokes. I said all the right things. But I didn’t tell him how the men stared at my body. I didn’t tell him about Ajay Sir holding my hand. I didn’t tell him how cheap and scared I already felt inside.
After the call, I sat on my bed and looked at the wall for a long time.
This was only my first day.
What had I got myself into?
