Main Characters
Park Min-jung – Top student, sharp tongue, ice-cold attitude. Known as “The Queen of Silence.”
Kim Eun-seok – Rich, arrogant, school troublemaker, secretly brilliant. Known as “The Devil Prince.”
Rain poured heavily outside.
Min-jung stood at the school gate, holding her umbrella, annoyed.
“Late again…” she muttered.
A black car suddenly splashed muddy water all over her uniform.
She froze.
The car stopped.
The window rolled down slowly.
A boy leaned out, smirking.
“Oops. Didn’t see you.”
Kim Eun-seok.
Her jaw clenched.
“You blind or just stupid?” she snapped.
He chuckled. “Careful. I don’t like that tone.”
“And I don’t like your face.”
Silence.
Then—
He smiled.
Dangerously.
“Good. I hate you too.”
Fate has a weird sense of humor.
They were chosen for the same project.
Min-jung slammed her book on the table.
“I’d rather fail.”
Eun-seok leaned back lazily. “Same. But looks like we’re stuck.”
They argued every day.
She called him useless
He called her boring
She ignored him
He irritated her on purpose
But slowly…
Something changed.
One evening, Min-jung saw Eun-seok fighting someone behind the school.
Not for fun.
For someone else.
He was protecting a weak student.
Blood on his lip.
Eyes serious.
Not arrogant.
Not joking.
Real.
She stepped forward. “Stop it!”
The boys ran away.
Eun-seok wiped his blood and smirked again. “What? Came to lecture me?”
But his voice was softer.
She noticed.
