The friendship we lost without loosing

Summary

This story is about a friendship that slowly faded without any clear reason or goodbye. Once, we shared everything—our laughs, our silence, and even our unspoken feelings. We understood each other without words, stood by each other through every phase, and created memories that felt unbreakable. But with time, things changed. Conversations became shorter, distance grew, and the bond we once had quietly slipped away. It’s a story of how sometimes, people don’t fight or leave dramatically—they just drift apart, leaving behind memories and a silence that says everything.

Chapter 1 the beginning

There was a time when everything felt simple. We didn’t need long conversations to understand each other—just a look, a pause, or even silence was enough. We were the kind of friends people talk about, the kind that feels rare and unbreakable.

We used to spend hours talking about anything and everything. From random jokes to our deepest fears, nothing was off-limits. You knew when I was not okay even when I said “I’m fine,” and I could read your mood without you saying a word. It felt like we had our own language, one that no one else could understand.

We laughed a lot—at silly things, at nothing, at everything. Those moments felt endless, like they would never fade. Even our fights didn’t last long. No matter how upset we got, we always found our way back to each other. Because losing the friendship was never an option.

Back then, I never thought things could change. I never imagined a day where we wouldn’t talk like we used to, where silence would replace our conversations, and distance would take over what once felt so close.

But maybe that’s the thing about time… it doesn’t ask before changing everything.

And slowly, without us even realizing it, things started to feel different
