Overall, this is a beautiful piece of fiction. It's cinematic, eerie, and deeply emotional. The horror lingers not because it's frightening, but because it feels so real and human. Long after I finished reading, I found myself thinking about its themes of loss, longing, and acceptance. I could easily imagine this as an award-winning short film."
