The funeral scene adds another layer of sadness and emotional tension. I appreciated that the characters do not heal instantly or forget what happened. They have to face the past before they can build anything new together. The story is deeply sad, but it never becomes completely hopeless. There is tenderness in the way they slowly begin to understand each other again. A moving second-chance romance about loss, love, and finding a reason to keep going."

"I really enjoyed this story BUT I felt it was going to take a sad turn before it happened and when it did I freaking cried! 😭 I had to try to maintain some sort of composure while reaching for the tissues as I didn’t want anyone in my orbit to see me crying over a story. Well written when you can get your audience emotional. I particularly enjoyed the addition of characters from the other stories which I had read them as well. Kudos 👍"
