Excellent Work!

"Hey there, Freya! I’ve officially finished reading this book, and I have to say, it is excellently written. Your grammar and writing style in general are basically flawless. I noticed maybe one minor error throughout the entire book, and I don’t even remember what it was because of how insignificant it was. I really enjoyed your writing style overall. It’s very introspective while still managing to get to the point and move the story forward. You did an amazing job with the writing. As far as the characters go, I’d say I really liked Izanagi, even though he didn’t appear much. He comes across as such a calm and welcoming spirit—very grandfatherly. You also did a great job of making sure each character had their own distinct personality. I especially loved Abbadon as the narrator. Even though I obviously haven’t lived for thousands of years myself, lol, I could still understand and relate to so many of the things she described and went through. I loved her grandson and daughter as well, and I genuinely felt sad for her when she lost them. You did a great job of making those relationships and losses feel meaningful. Lastly, when it comes to the pacing, I honestly think it was really well done. Although this isn’t my typical type of read, I never really felt like the story dragged. It took me about two chapters to become fully invested, but even those first two chapters gave us important information that helped establish the characters and the world, so they still felt purposeful. I also loved the overall premise: Abbadon, a demon created to destroy, ultimately deciding to change her fate and create instead. I think that contrast is such an interesting foundation for her character and the story as a whole. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this. You created an interesting world, gave your characters distinct personalities, and told the story through a narrator who felt surprisingly relatable despite being so far removed from an ordinary human experience.
