Chapter 1

Everyone around me seemed to be moving forward… and I felt stuck.

There’s a kind of silence that comes when you start comparing your life to everyone else’s.

You see people winning.

Starting businesses.

Getting opportunities.

Finding love.

Becoming everything they prayed for.

And then there’s you

trying your best, praying quietly, showing up daily…

yet feeling like nothing is changing.

I won’t lie

there were moments I wondered if I had missed my time.

If maybe I was too late.

Too slow.

Too behind.

But one day, while sitting with all those thoughts, I realized something:

Growth is not always loud.

Some seasons don’t look impressive on the outside,

but deep within, God is building strength, wisdom, character, and endurance.

A seed underground looks invisible before it becomes visible.

And maybe that’s where I am right now

not forgotten, not failing…

just growing where no one can see.

“To everything there is a season…” Ecclesiastes 3:1

So I’m learning to stop rushing my journey.

To stop measuring my life with someone else’s timeline.

Because becoming takes time.

And delayed doesn’t mean denied.
