Great
""This author writes anticipation better than almost anyone. The moments before things happen are as charged and alive as the moments when they do. Exceptional tension work.""
I Wasn’t Ready for This Story
"📖 Storyline: A beautifully layered emotional story about grief, memory, love, family, and identity. What starts as a contemporary romance slowly unfolds into something much deeper and more intimate. ✍️ Writing Style: The prose is lyrical and atmospheric without becoming overly complicated. The sensory descriptions are especially strong, - weather, light, scent, silence, everything feels vivid and cinematic. 🧠 Character Development: This is where the novel shines the most. Natasha feels psychologically real, and the supporting characters are written with unusual emotional depth. Denise was probably my favourite character in the entire book. 💔 Emotional Impact: This story HURTS quietly. It’s not melodramatic, but it stays with you. The panic attack and grief scenes felt incredibly authentic. 🌿 Themes: Generational trauma, memory, emotional dependency, healing, identity, friendship, family expectations, and love in all its complicated forms. ⚠️ Notes: This is a slower, character-driven novel. If you like fast plot-heavy stories, this may not be for you. But if you enjoy emotional immersion and layered relationships, definitely read it. Overall: One of the most emotionally mature stories I’ve read on here in a long time. "
