Something Like Gravity is a little different from most Kira books. There are no explicit scenes here. What you get instead is slow burn, genuine sweetness, and enough quiet comedy to make you smile at your phone in public and feel zero regret about it.

Ben Hargrove is a instrumentation engineering student who is precise, observant, and completely unprepared for feelings. He is the kind of guy who notices the loose thread at your cuff and the way you chew your pen when you’re stuck on a formula. He has been watching Beth Sinclair from a respectful and increasingly inconvenient distance for weeks.

Beth Sinclair is a cheerleader who is sharper and warmer and funnier than the ponytail and the halftime routines suggest. She is the kind of person who makes a room warmer without making it smaller. She also wrote a note. On actual paper. And handed it to him in a hallway.

What follows is the experience of two people discovering that being truly seen by someone is somehow both the easiest and most terrifying thing in the world.
