Chapter One; The Meet
3:20PM
Rachel and Catherine wait at the airport. People start getting out off the plane, a man walks out of the area, “Blake!” Rachel yelled excitedly, she ran to hug the person she saw. “Oi! Get off!” The man who was clearly not Blake said. Rachel looked at the man, “Oh! Sorry!” Rachel said, the man already started walking off. Just moments later Rachel felt arms around her waist. “Rae!” A man said happily sounding, Rachel turned around to look at Blake, who surprised her. “You’ve gotten lights?” Rachel asked surprised “Yup” Blake replied, Rachel looked at the blended blue highlights in Blake’s hair, “They’re not bad” Rachel said, Blake nodded in agreement. A ding went off, Rachel looked at her mobile phone, “Catherine just texted, she’s waiting in the motorcar” Rachel said. Blake nodded in agreement. “Figures” He said. Rachel smiled, Blake rested his hand on Rachel’s chin, tilting it up. Rachel leaned in and Blake kissed her, Rachel’s hand rested on the side of his neck. Blake mainly started the kiss, and ended the kiss. They had to remember they were in public even though they haven’t seen each other since Rachel’s visit in the last holiday they’ve had. “We better head to the car” Blake said, Rachel agreed. Catherine dropped them off at their place, they chose one during the holidays that has passed maybe a couple months. “So, how’s my dad?” Blake asked “Still the same old stubborn geezer, he always is” Rachel replied. Blake giggled at the response Rachel gave. “Wonderful” He added to her reply. “Catherine’s fine aswell.” Rachel said. “I know she is” Blake replied. Rachel nodded. “Wanna watch a film?” Rachel asked, “Maybe after I unpack” Blake replied again. “Alright” she said. After that, Rachel looks through films, meanwhile Blake is left to unpack. “Pirates Of The Caribbean?” Rachel asked loudly. “Sure” Blake replied loud enough for Rachel to also hear. After Blake finished packing, he found Rachel on the sofa, “’Ello” she said. “Hey” Blake replied. “So tell me how is four years there? Not counting the times you’ve came back home, and the visits.” Rachel asked, “Well four years...I’ve got a full 4 year degree in engineering, I can for sure work in cars and whatnot. It was alright, I’d say. I’ve got a job lined up for when I’m ready to work. And you?” Blake replied. “Well, that’s nice. You’ve not got to accept it immediately, do know that” Rachel commented to that. “I’ve got mine; they’re allowing me another year though.” Rachel also said. “Brilliant” Blake complimented. Rachel smiled. “I’ll get the popcorn. Do you want salt or not?” Blake asked, “Salt” Rachel replied. “Wonderful” Blake replied, he kissed her forehead then headed straight for the kitchen. After he popped the popcorn, they’re conversation continued. “So how many films are there?” Blake asked, “Three, one has just came out.” Rachel replied. “Cool” he said. When the popcorn was salted and in the bowl he picked the bowl up and left the kitchen. Blake handed Rachel the bowl, “Oh! One more thing, since you’re already up, can you turn the lights out?” Rachel asked, “Yup, no issue” Blake said. He turned the light out then walked back to the sofa, “Comfy?” He asked, “Yes” Rachel replied. Blake nodded and sat down beside her. She pressed play on the film, “So how long do you think the three will be?” Blake asked, ” In total?.. possibly...Maybe 7 hours..?” Rachel asked. “Do you want to watch them all today?.” Blake asked Rachel, which nodded as a yes. “Alright” he replied. And so they watched their films that they had picked out.
