Chapter 1
The stage was brighter. Lights filled the whole place, thousands of voices calling the same name
"KAIRO"
Kairo stood at the center singing and smiling. A smile the whole world loved. When the show ended everyone screamed Kairo's name like a prayer. He smiled at everyone and got at backstage. He looked tired and exhausted from all of these. His phone lit up thousands of message request, trends of him, photos and videos from his fan, and then the hate comments
"Omg he is such a fame enjoyer"
"He should just quiet"
"He is not even worth to be this overrated"
"He is getting arrogant"
"It's only his looks no one likes his talent"
"It's only because he loves fame"
He stopped scrolling the comment section. Kairo just stared at the screen, and he said softly, "So this is what it is now?"
That night he stood alone by the window of his apartment looking at the sky "Why do I have to pretend smiling when I don't even want to smile?"
The next morning the whole internet exploded news came out saying "Kairo is taking a temporary break"
His fans all were shocked "KAIRO IS LEAVING?"
"No way this is a dream right"
"He is so selfish"
His parents were angry. His father was angry "Do u even know what u are doing?"
"I'm just tired "Kairo replied
His father raised his voice "Tired? Everyone is tired! You can't just stop!"
Kairo said "I just want to live a normal life like everyone else"
His manager adds "It will ruin your Carrer your image everything"
"Then let it "Kairo stormed out of the room
That night his parents came to his apartment
His mom said "If you are fine doing this then I won't stop you"
But his dad voice was low and serious "If you walk away now, everything you worked for will disappear"
Kairo looked down at the floor.
His father continued "Give me a reason why should I allow this?"
Silence filled the apartment. Kairo said "Just 2 years"
His father looked at him.
Kairo looked up and said "Two years… I want to live like a normal person like everyone else around my age. If I still can’t handle it after that, I’ll come back.
His father asked him, "And if you fail?"
Kairo asked him "Then I will accept it"
A long silence followed the room.
His father looked at Kairo's mother she nodded with tears in her eyes
His father sighed "Just 2 years that's all"
And for the first time Kairo felt as if all of his burden from the shoulder was gone away.
The following week he was enrolled to a normal high school. The school was big everyone stared at him with excitement "No way he is joining our school" Some girls whispered.
Some student froze mid-conversation "K-K-Kairo??"
"Is that really Kairo?"
"I can't believe it"
He kept walking the hallway. And when he reached his class, he slid open the door.
As he stepped into the classroom everyone shouted "KAIRO"
His homeroom teacher requested everyone to stay calm and treat him equally.
Then the homeroom teacher asked him to sit with someone who didn't even care about what was happening in the class. Everyone wanted to sit beside him, but this boy expression wasn't like everyone's.
Kairo sat down slowly. He looked at him and paused before speaking "Wont you treat me like a celebrity?"
The boy turned his head. He looked at him he spoke with hand in his chin "You are a celebrity to them, but you are just a normal person to me"
Kairo looked at him "Not even little special?"
The boy spoke "No"
And for the first time Kairo didn't knew what to say.
