Prologue
Dylan we are so close, but I have never felt further away from you. We have been together for almost two years and if you can't trust me with something's then this relationship is doomed to fail. I don't care for the money or expensive gift's, I want to be with someone who would be my everything, Who I would understand everything his thinking without words. We would be able to share secrets no matter what it is. You always walk out or come up with excuses whenever I ask, and I want the truth this time.
I told him closing the distance between us, I grabbed both his hands in mine, so he won't be able to walk out and stared deeply into his eyes, blue meeting brown. Why is it your eyes turn purple like now when you have blue eyes?, why is it you growl for instance? Why won't you let me move in?. Dylan's look at me why aren't you looking at me? Why the heck won't you look at me my voice kept rising as I asked the questions and quivered to a stop as he refused to look at me.
I watched in horror as he gently but firmly extricated his hands from my grasp. And turned his back to me. I would have cried then, but I can't, I wouldn't do that. Am I a joke to you? Or you just don't care enough about me, I asked staring up at him or rather his back with large honey brown eyes filled with tears I refused to let fall, hating myself for sounding so weak. Her soft silky dark hair cascaded down her back in tiny waves framing her face and swaying slightly in the night breeze which smelt slightly of roses. Allison had always liked experimenting with her hair. Where the tip of her hair stopped she had dyed it a bright purple creating an alluring look.
Tonight she wore a mini black skirt and a cute purple shirt with frills, tucked in loosely, it accentuated her flattering curves, the curves dipped low enough to expose cleaves but not too indecent, the diamond necklace he bought her lay cradled just above her busom. Her eyes reflected all the pain and anger she was currently experiencing her lips trembled as she stared up at him, but she refused to cry. His silence and refusal to look at her was all the answers she needed to her question and more.Coward!.she muttered under her breath, turning on her heels which she doesn't go anywhere without she stomped into her car and drove off full on sobbing.
Her heart felt like it was in splinters, and she hated him but herself more for loving him so much. The two years he had been together he had given her nothing but expensive gift's, at first she had been worried but he had assured her that she was worth every penny, moreover, he could afford it and enjoyed his woman looking classy, sexually no matter how much she initiated, he refused to go beyond chaste kisses even when she had wanted more it was like somehow she repulsed him, but she knew he was attracted to her, the whole inability to read his emotions or understand him was driving her wild. She had been such a fool, The pain wanted to crush her, obliterate her completely.
Her friends had warned her about him, that maybe he was using her, and she had laughed it off because her boyfriend was obviously loaded what exactly would he need from poor little her, if it were to be that way she was the one keeping her dirty past and acting all sweet or dare she say innocent. Then she herself began to notice little things that didn't add up in their relationship. When she asked questions he always ended up having an intense argument, but today he had completely ignored her. Was he married? Did he have a disease or something? Was he unable to get it up?
Her thoughts were running haywire, and she couldn't control it. When she racked her brain she realized she literally knew nothing about this man. Usually she would not have bothered, but her best friend kept putting pressure on her. She had eventually popped her from her love filled haze when they had searched for Dylan Carter and not a single picture of him popped up. She had been in disbelief then she called his supposed company and no such person worked there.
Then and there she also realized they didn't have a single picture of each other and slowly through her love filled haze she began to see some certain things. Like how he was obsessive around her or seem to nozzle into her almost like a puppy. When she had threatened to break up with him how his eyes had turned a brilliant purple, and he had growled at her. She had been frightened and had turned to flee, but he had caught her easily and buried his nose in her hair and when she dared look up again she had been met with the familiar blue eyes she had come to love. She had dismissed the incident as nothing or maybe a trick of the light.
That was when she realized she didn't know his house or anything, she had never met his family or friends. She should have just cut him off and moved on with her life, but she couldn't, because she had also come to love him and depend on him, the way he looked at her, was like she literally hung the stars, no other person had ever looked at her that way.
He was always distracting her with food, movies, jokes, parties, they even danced but after the whole bizarre internet stuff she had decided to get answers from him, His secret couldn't be that bad right?. Her friend had suggested he may be into something sinister, that she should slowly let the whole relationship stuff fizzle out, but she couldn't, she had loved this man for two years and despite all odds they had been happy, so she was going to give him a chance to explain himself to her, without letting him know she had begun digging on him, or she was suspicious in any way.
Veronica had been right she should not have confronted him, she had been such a fool, she could have been killed tonight. Imagine he was really into something sinister he could have shot her and no one would ever know. While she was driving she got a phone call putting it on the loudspeaker she heard his voice filtering into her ear. She was about to reach out and cut the phone but the next thing she heard made her freeze and her blood run cold. “Is that why you hired a private investigator to have me followed? Or tried to take pictures of me several times even when I told you not to my impatient little kitten?”.
“It was easy finding out your little tricks you know your private investigator sold you out for double the fee, humans are always so insatiable and difficult to please like you my darling for an instance”. “You know when little girls stick their nose into something they shouldn't then they have to get punished so drive safely and be safe, I would see you around with that the call was ended”.
The shock and weird conversation didn't allow her to speak, the silence was deafening, her hands shook on the steering wheel, She had thought he would never find out about the whole private investigator saga but she should have known better,It might have been the turbulence in her heart from the weird conversation or something, but she didn't see the oncoming vehicle, and she swerved a little too late. The impact was earth-shattering glasses shattered all around creating an almost deafening roar. She hit her head a little too hard passing out and even then a tear still escaped, what the heck had she gotten into, and she wished she had listened to Veronica she also wished she would forget Dylan and her love would become hate a tiny part of her hoped this was all a nightmare. She could hear voices but for some reason her eyes refused to open.
Thanks for reading the alpha's bride. Do you love it or hate it, drop a love emoji if you do and angry emoji if you don't? If you were in Allison's shoes, what would you do?.
I won't be able to update as quickly because of some personal stuff, so we would do it this way, 50 votes for a new chapter. See you in chapter one.
