"The thing is this author needs support (clinical). He has the audacity to mock me for killing off a character and then bringing them back to life. Just copied my plot, huh? The only difference is that the mystery, plot development and suspense is more intense in this book. (OUCH) Seriously though, I like how certain twists are solely for plot progression rather than for the sake of adding it as some authors do. (OUCH part 2) The real thing is Focus is dead in the eyes of Flare which makes her emotional turmoil feels so intense and real. She was fighting against herself. The addition of pseudo Focus adds depth but then Flare understands it! She doesn’t have to run from her past, she needs to own it. Here comes Blue Flare (I still think my hair will look cool if I dye them blue). Some of the side characters got limelight. Jackpot, Pulse, Rime (don’t argue😒) etc. Pulse use all of her healing surge to bring Focus back only to realize she has messed up everything🤗. Focus needs to fight Stone, Infinity and then needs to go to Flare. I see your priorities, Focus😏. What really touched my heart was Stone’s backstory. Parents are meant to be your protectors and they quite literally sold him. I admire the writing style as it shows how corrupted a system can be. It doesn’t even leave children, especially children. But here’s the fact. Stone doesn’t realise that what happened to him shouldn’t hurt normal people. Like yes, take your revenge but not from the innocent people. However, I get him for not getting this point. Overall, it’s a good story and I can’t wait for the final book. Or you can say I can’t wait for Flare and Focus to meet. Highly recommended! Good luck with the next book. I hope I added all the points. (For instance, hyping up the author. Surely, he needs help). Part two of the review because Abdo is never satisfied with me (🥺) A moment of appreciation for Gauntlet. Love you, man!! Is he single, btw? Asking for a friend🤗. The fight between Rime and Gauntlet was just too intense but who cares when the result is in my favour😒. The plot twist... Focus turning into Pseudo Focus made my jaw drop (top 10 things that never happened). And now don’t come to say that it was never Focus at the first place😏. But seriously though, that scene was probably the best part of this book. Sparks vs Stone was a perfect balance of action and emotional weight. Focus’s comeback sent chills down the spine (it’s a part of my previous list btw). I know he is gonna take revenge. It’s over for everyone💀. Damn!! No way, Focus vs Stone, the epic battle. And then Focus vs Infinity... damn (pt2). "
