Chapter 1:
The Cry in the Silence
The sun was slowly sinking into the Pacific, bleeding shades of crimson and deep violet across the horizon of the remote island. For the world, this was a breathtaking paradise, but for Sera Miller, it was just another movie set. As Hollywood’s most sought-after actress, she was used to the cameras, the fake smiles, and the constant noise.
Exhausted after a grueling twelve-hour shoot, Sera walked away from the crew, seeking the cold touch of the ocean breeze. The only sound was the rhythmic crashing of the waves against the jagged rocks—until a sharp, thin cry pierced through the air.
Sera stopped in her tracks. Her heart hammered against her ribs. It wasn't the cry of a seagull. It was the desperate, fragile wail of a human.
She scrambled over the slippery rocks, her silk gown tearing against the sharp edges, but she didn't care. There, tucked inside a dark crevice just inches away from the rising tide, lay a small bundle.
Sera’s breath caught in her throat. Wrapped in a thin, expensive scarf was a newborn baby girl. Her tiny skin was turning blue from the freezing wind, and her fists were clenched in a silent plea for life. Her delicate features and dark silken hair were unmistakably Korean.
"Oh my God..." Sera whispered, her eyes filling with tears. She carefully scooped the tiny, shivering body into her arms, tucking the infant deep inside her own coat, pressing her against her chest to share her warmth. "Who could be so heartless? Who would leave you here to die?"
The baby’s cries softened into a weak whimper as she felt Sera’s heartbeat. In that moment, looking down at the innocent face, Sera felt a connection she couldn't explain. She didn't know who this child belonged to, but she knew she couldn't let her go.

Meanwhile, in Seoul, South Korea...
The lights of the city flickered like distant stars, but inside the private practice room of ZENITH Entertainment, it was pitch black. Jae-Hyun, the charismatic leader of the world-famous K-pop group ZENITH-4, sat on the floor, his head buried in his hands.
His phone vibrated on the polished wood. A message from Jisu.
His heart leaped with hope, but as he read the words, his world turned into ash.
"It’s over, Jae-Hyun. I couldn't let a mistake ruin my career. The baby is gone. I discarded it. It’s better this way for both of us. Don’t ever try to find me or the child. She doesn't exist anymore."
A primal, silent scream tore through Jae-Hyun’s soul. He threw his phone against the mirror, the glass shattering into a thousand pieces—just like his heart. He had been ready to give up everything, his fame, his crown, his life, just to be a father.
He slumped against the wall, sobbing in the darkness. He had no idea that thousands of miles away, on a cold island beach, the 'mistake' Jisu had thrown away was being held by a woman who would soon become the most important person in his life.
His daughter was alive. But for the rest of the world, she was a secret buried in the waves.
