Great Characters
"I went in expecting a spicy throuple romance and got blindsided by how much I stopped caring about the sex because I was so moved by the story. Syd's voice is dry and self-aware, narrating her own unraveling. Aiden's self-discovery had me tearing up bc I can relate, which is not a sentence I expected to write. The found family energy at soccer games, Grady's, Cory losing his mind and coming back around, makes the world feel lived-in instead of like a backdrop for the throuple. It's funny, it's tender, it's unbearably hot, and it never forgets these are real people figuring something intense out about themselves. Couldn't put it down."

"This book had me hooked from like chapter 2 on, I couldnt put it down. The writing is super detailed, sometimes almost TOO detailed lol but once you get used to the pacing its addicting. Syd is such a complex character, love how she doesnt shy away from her own feelings even when its messy. Aiden's arc especially with Drake felt really genuine to me, not rushed at all which I appreciated bc a lot of books in this genre just throw people together without any buildup. I also really liked how the book doesnt shy away from political stuff either, like Syd wrestling with staying close to people like Cory even tho they dont see eye to eye at all politically. It felt really real, not preachy, just her trying to hold onto friendships that matter to her even when someone's views frustrate the hell out of her. That parking lot convo with Cory is tea. Only complaint is some of the side characters (looking at u Cory, even tho I just praised that scene lol) can feel a lil one note at first but he actually grows on you as the story goes. Also the dialogue between the three of them is chefs kiss especially when its playful, Drake's flirting genuinely made me laugh out loud a few times. Would recommend if ur into slow burn poly relationships that dont feel forced, this one earns it. Overall really solid read, cant wait to see where the rest of the story goes."

"This book is legit. The author clearly put a ton of time and effort into the story and technicality of her writing. I’m not done with it yet and I am already so attached to the characters. Drake is such a good addition to this story with his confidence and the way he’s just effortlessly smooth about everything. Aiden is a literal dream husband and Syd is such a funny and smart narrator without being annoying about it. The way she breaks down her routines and processes every little thing makes me think she’s a little on the spectrum ngl. She’s super insightful about her own decisions but then this whole situation throws her completely off and watching her try to analyze her way through it is so entertaining. The chapters are long but not in a bad way. It reads like an actual novel, not a cheap quick read like most of what I see on this app. The tension between the characters is SO hot. Just got to chapter 14 and I literally cannot wait to keep going 🔥🔥"
My favorite on this app so far
"I probably would not have selected this book for myself. The cover grabbed my attention and the other reviews made me curious. I like a lot of action and suspense and this book is not that genre. It is very easy to read and a nice refreshing reminder to enjoy little things in life. The narrator focuses a lot on that. I was quickly invested in the characters and the plot and I had trouble stopping. I was on a ride of emotions during this story. You think its about one thing - Syds crush on another man. It ends up being more about Aidens journey and how they combat those changes together. But I wont give away too much. The only thing i would advise on and this doesnt affect my rating yet because the book is ongoing - I wish the other characters had more spotlight. I really want to see more of Sara and Alex and Tristan and Becca. I really liked Becca with her sharp tongue. Id love to see into Drake's past more too and maybe even get a chapter about Raymond. Its a unique story with great insight on sexuality and exploring new things! I hope they continue writing and expanding on this fun read. "
A Sitcom Vibe With Modern Twists
"Reading this gave me a modern That 70s Show vibe. Its a good group of friends just enjoying life and the character development is really good. I love how each character has their own personality and quirks and you can really feel it. The story gives us a lot to hope for and guess on and I felt myself wanting to keep reading on to see what would happen. I went in with low expectations because I expected it to be all smut and little plot. Not true at all! There's strong depth and emotional growth between people and it is honestly refreshing how emotionally mature the main characters are. The only comment I have is I don't know how long this story is going to continue on for and I really really hope it isn't wrapping up soon. I only have a few more chapters to read and there are still a lot of open ended items I want addressed as a reader that I don't think can be jammed into a few chapters. It does not say the book is finished though so I will stay hopeful for more!"
Hidden gem!
"I'm SUCKED IN!! It starts a little slow but I dont think thats a bad thing. It was interesting enough to grab me and by chapter 3 I was already obsessed with Aiden. If this is the author's real marriage I will forever be praying for the same! The characters, the dialog, the internal narrating, the CHEMISTRY!! I am so obsessed and I want to keep reading. I hope the author continues the story or writes a second one with the same characters"
