Chapter 1
PART 1 — The Night Everything Went Quiet
That night didn’t feel special at all.
It was just a normal evening. Around 7:30 or maybe a little later. I don’t remember the exact time.
Then suddenly, the power went off.
At first, I didn’t think much about it. It happens sometimes, so I just got up and went to sit on the stairs near my terrace. I usually go there when it’s quiet.
The moment I sat down, I noticed something.
The wind was stronger than usual.
Not just normal wind… it felt colder. The kind that makes you feel a little uncomfortable for no reason. The whole place felt too quiet.
No people.
No sounds.
Nothing.
Even the ground near my house, where people usually come and play, was completely empty.
I don’t know why, but that silence felt strange.
I just sat there for a few seconds, trying to relax.
Then… I slowly lifted my head up.
And that’s when I saw something.
