Summary

“SEO-YOON HAN DIES NEXT.” The post appeared at 2:13 AM. By morning, the entire school had seen it. Some laughed. Some ignored it. Some commented. But Seo-yoon couldn’t breathe. Because every student mentioned by the anonymous account Last Comment had died within 48 hours. And nobody ever discovered who was behind it. When Seo-yoon becomes the account’s next target, she’s forced to work with Cha Min-jae — the dangerous transfer student connected to every victim and feared by the entire school. As anonymous hate spreads online and students begin turning against each other, Seo-yoon uncovers a terrifying truth: The deaths aren’t random. Someone is using the internet to choose who deserves to die next. And the deeper she digs into the mystery, the more she realizes one thing: In a school built on secrets, getting exposed might be worse than dying.

Chapter 1 2:13 A.M

The post appeared at 2:13 AM.

Seo-yoon almost ignored it.

Anonymous accounts posted disturbing things every day, especially at Hanmin High. Rumors. Confessions. Threats.

But this one was different.

“YOO JI-AN DIES TOMORROW — 5:44 PM.”

Attached was a blurry rooftop photo of a girl in school uniform.

The comments underneath were worse.

«attention seeker

jump already

nobody would care anyway»

Seo-yoon felt sick.

By morning, the entire school had seen the post.

By evening, Yoo Ji-an was dead.

The post appeared at 2:13 AM.

Seo-yoon almost ignored it.

Anonymous accounts posted disturbing things every day at Hanmin High. Rumors. Confessions. Threats.

But this one was different.

“YOO JI-AN DIES TOMORROW — 5:44 PM.”

Attached was a blurry rooftop photo of a girl wearing their school uniform.

The comments underneath were even worse.

attention seeker!!

jump already

nobody would care anyway

Seo-yoon stared at the screen, her stomach twisting.

Thousands of likes.

Hundreds of comments.

And every single person at school was already talking about it.

By morning, Yoo Ji-an still hadn’t shown up to class.

By evening, she was dead

Nobody studied after that.

Teachers whispered outside classrooms.

Students refreshed their phones every few seconds, pretending not to care while secretly searching for updates.

Some cried.

Most recorded videos.

By lunchtime, Yoo Ji-an’s death was everywhere online.

Seo-yoon felt sick.

People were treating it like entertainment.

A girl had died less than an hour ago, yet students were already arguing in the comments about whether it was suicide or murder.

Her phone vibrated.

Unknown Number:

“The next post will appear tonight.”

Seo-yoon froze.

Another message appeared before she could reply.

“Watch Cha Min-jae carefully.”

At the back of the classroom, a boy slowly looked up from his desk.

Cha Min-jae.

The transfer student everyone avoided.

His expression was unreadable.

But for a split second, Seo-yoon could’ve sworn he already knew what was going to happen next.

The final bell rang, but nobody moved.

The classroom buzzed with nervous whispers.

Seo-yoon kept staring at the message on her phone.

“Watch Cha Min-jae carefully.”

Her eyes slowly lifted toward the back of the room again.

Min-jae was already looking at her.

Not curious.

Not surprised.

Like he’d been waiting for her to notice him.

Seo-yoon quickly looked away.

A chair scraped loudly against the floor.

The entire class went silent as Min-jae stood up.

Students moved aside immediately, avoiding him as he walked between the desks.

Nobody spoke to him.

Nobody even touched him.

The rumors about Cha Min-jae had spread through Hanmin High within days of his transfer.

Violence.

Expulsion.

Psychiatric hospital.

Nobody knew which stories were true.

Min-jae stopped beside Seo-yoon’s desk.

Her heartbeat stumbled.

“You should stop checking that account,” he said quietly.

Seo-yoon’s grip tightened around her phone.

“How do you know what I’m looking at?”

For the first time, something almost unreadable flickered across Min-jae’s face.

Fear.

Then he leaned closer and whispered—

“Because the next person they post about is still alive.”

And then he walked away.

Seo-yoon stared after him, unable to move.

Still alive?

What was that supposed to mean?

Around her, whispers immediately exploded across the classroom.

“Did Min-jae seriously talk to her?”

“Why would he even go near Seo-yoon?”

“He’s so creepy…”

Seo-yoon ignored them.

Her hands shook as she unlocked her phone again.

The anonymous messages were gone.

Deleted.

A cold feeling crawled up her spine.

She checked the account once more.

Last Comment had uploaded a new post.

The timestamp read:

5:43 PM.

Exactly one minute before Yoo Ji-an died.

Seo-yoon’s breathing slowed.

Attached was another blurry photo.

Dark hallway.

School uniform.

A girl standing with her back facing the camera.

At first, Seo-yoon didn’t recognize her.

Then she noticed the keychain hanging from the girl’s bag.

A tiny silver moon.

Her silver moon.

Seo-yoon’s stomach dropped.

The caption underneath the photo read:

“SEO-YOON HAN DIES NEXT.”

Her phone suddenly rang.

Unknown Number.

With trembling fingers, she answered.

For a few seconds, there was only static.

Then a distorted voice whispered—

“Run.”
