Chapter 1
Rooh A girl 17 years in bihar . her family is complicated her grandparents of father side thinks they are god and goddess so does her father. her father a retired iaf officer does not see anything beyond his parents . he has one goal to keep his parents happy for which he fights scolds beats his wife and even caught the neck of rooh when rooh grandmother told something to him. he used to love his real family before his retirement but after he came to his home town he changed completely. rooh had enough of all this fights , she hears her mother complaining about her father and vice versa . she gets called names like "whore" by her family , even after doing almost every work told to her from sweeping floor to washing clothes and utensils, to feeding her grandmother medicines she used to do everything . she is fed up. currently rooh gave her class 12 board exam and was waiting for her result . " you are going to fail that is your result" mocked her sister. one afternoon she got into fight with her father "you are a disgrace to us" . "fine dad ik you love me but i will come back when your parents will die ". a slap landed on rooh face followed by 2 more and she picked the money she had and moved out of the house alone but free. she immediately went to station and sat in a train going to banaras . she was scared in train everyone knows the condition of girls in indian . she was careful and covered from everywhere . she looked out the window seeing the banaras station arrive . There a new journey waits for rooh that is tough she know the world is not like how it is shown in movies or story book, here survival comes at a cost.soul
