A masterpiece of cosmic stakes and absolute heart break

"I finished this book, and I just had to sit in silence to process the sheer weight of that ending. If you are looking for a mythological fiction that will completely consume you, this is the one. The author weaves a brilliant, terrifying lore: an ancient being, rendered indestructible through intense *tapasya*, bringing chaos to the universe. When the heavens themselves fail to kill him, they curse him, binding his fate to a mortal vessel. But the true brilliance of this story isn't just in its epic, celestial mythology—it is anchored entirely in its profoundly human protagonist. The vessel isn't a god. He isn't a seasoned warrior. He is a twenty-four-year-old archaeologist with a pure heart, a selfless spirit, and a wife who loves him endlessly. Watching this ordinary man fight a cosmic demon from the inside out is nothing short of breathtaking. But it's the stakes that elevate this book into an unforgettable masterpiece. In this lore, death isn't a gateway to rebirth. To destroy the demon, the mortal vessel must face soul erasure—ceasing to exist across all timelines forever. The sacrifice this protagonist makes, giving up a beautiful, ordinary life for the sake of the world, will shatter your heart in the best way possible. Beautifully written, meticulously crafted, and devastatingly profound. The author is on his way to become a master of character depth. Bring tissues, because this ordinary man's extraordinary willpower will stay with your soul long after the final page. "

Review after Chapter 8

"Hi. I found this story on the Beta-Readers Group and thought I would share my opinion. As I am new to inkitt I hope this ist the correct place to do it, but here goes nothing: I really like the action scenes in the story. They are written in a very graphic way, allowing for easy visualization of what is happening. I also liked the flashback to how Avinashura got his power. You showed it in a short and interesting way, instead of it completely leaving the main plot alone. My only critique to the flashback ist, that it does not feel like an ancient text it is supposed to be, as it shows too many aspects of modern writing to invoke that feeling. It reads more like a vision Prahal has, than an old text he reads. My biggest criticism about the sory is, that I do not care a lot about the heroes or the world. Horrible things are happening, but I do not feel connected to them and therefore their death doesn't mean much to me, which unfortunately also casts a shadow on the action scenes. They just mean a lot less if you do not care about the outcome. Maybe more information about the heroes and the world after the Pancha Veers first fight would have been good. The action had calmed down there and you could show why the reader should care about them and the world. At the moment they just seem like generic superhero team A and I can't really empathize with the normal people of the world, why their success or failure would be a big deal to me. I hope this helps. Continue the good work :)"
