Chapter 1: The world we forget
Lyria Vale and Serin Edevia were not normal girls.
Everyone in school said that, but honestly… they didn’t mind.
Because they had something special.
Something nobody else had.
One mind. One imagination. One world.
Lyria and Serin were best friends since childhood.
They liked the same books, the same music, the same weird food combinations—
and most importantly, they both loved dreaming.
Their biggest secret was a place they had created together:
Everhollow.
A soft, magical world with:
floating bridges,
glowing rivers,
silver trees,
and a sky that changed color every hour.
It started when they were kids.
They would sit in Lyria’s room and draw random shapes on paper.
Slowly, those shapes became lands…
those lands became cities…
and those cities became Everhollow.
Every day, after school, they would close their eyes and imagine they were there.
They knew every corner, every street, every sound.
They spent so much time imagining it that sometimes—
they forgot what was real
and what was just in their minds.
Lyria would sometimes hear Everhollow’s soft wind while brushing her hair.
Serin would sometimes smell the world’s lavender air during class.
They didn’t tell anyone, afraid that people would call them crazy.
But to them… Everhollow felt like home.
