I thoroughly loved the journey of Julian - his passion and reason towards Sense, the family he created and how it all destroyed gradually. This book shows the perks and dangers of technology and how it silently lets us use everything of us without much dwelving into the raw details. Really, now I am not sure about the number apps sitting on my phone. Raquel made me wonder, love and cry in every pages - waiting to read more."

"This story is incredible. It pulls you in so completely that you always want to read just one more chapter to find out what happens next. The author does an amazing job exploring the characters' emotions, making it easy to understand and truly feel everything they're going through. You experience the joy, the anger, the anxiety, and the heartbreak right alongside them. I found myself close to tears because of Julian's choices, frustrated with him at times, and then incredibly proud of the path he ultimately decided to follow. "Julian Mercer knows about heartache and exhaustion. After witnessing the death of his brother in a horrific car crash, he has determined that no one else ever fear loosing a loved one in a so-called 'accident' again. Thus SENSE is born. A computer system designed to prevent accidents of all sorts, by predicting human behavior. But as SENSE grows more and more powerful and Julian becomes obsessed, the question becomes what kind of 'Frankenstein' Julian has created, and will his beloved creation destroy himself and mankind both? I must say this is a well-written story with the protagonist given more character depth than what's typical for Inkitt. Raquel Sousa builds tension through atmosphere, quiet dialogue, and subtle details that make the characters feel real. We learn for example, what motivates Julian, what drives him instead of the usual, lazy 'I want to improve the world,' drive of your average tech-genius. Julian's pain is easy to sympathize and we grow to care about him, even though we 'sense' -ha-ha that he may be going in a wrong and dangerous direction. A fascinating novel, that explores the dangers of human pain and technology growing together unchecked. "
