"A trap"
PROLOGUE (TEASER)
This is just the beginning.
A girl receives anonymous messages every night.
At first, she tries to ignore them.
She already gets dozens of random texts and DMs because almost everyone in the university knows her.
She’s the typical backbencher everyone underestimates — intelligent, good at sports, great in
academics, and somehow good at almost everything.
But these messages feel different.
Almost like the sender knows her personally.
The messages were never normal.
“I know your day wasn’t good today.”
“I know your mom scolded you.”
“I know who your crush is.”
Every night, a new message appeared on her phone.
And somehow, every single one was true.
But she did not take all these seriously, as none of them were that intense…
Slowly, the messages began to shift , no longer light or casual, but slipping deeper into corners of her life she had never shared, touching on thoughts and spaces she kept only to herself.
She never replied before.
But this time, something inside her snapped—chaos and curiosity mixing together as her fingers hovered over the screen.
Finally, she typed:
“Who are you? And how do you know all these things about me?”
Her heart raced as she hit send.
The typing indicator appeared almost instantly.
Then the message came:
“Did you get my gift?”
She froze.
A notification popped up right after.
A delivery.
No name. No sender.
Just a small box of chocolates left for her.
And then another message arrived:
“You looked like you needed it today."
