Chapter 1- pretty
The night before the exam felt suffocating.
Books were scattered across the desk, highlighters rolling near the edge, and the clock kept ticking louder than usual.
She rubbed her eyes for the hundredth time, trying to understand the same chapter again… but the words refused to stay in her mind.
“Ugh… nothing is going in,” she muttered.
With a small sigh, she picked up her phone.
Maybe a video explanation would help.
After a few seconds of scrolling, she clicked on a lecture video. The screen loaded slowly, and then the teacher appeared.
And suddenly…
She forgot about the exam.
The teacher on the screen had calm eyes and a gentle voice. Her hair fell softly around her face as she explained the topic with a small smile.
For a moment, the girl didn’t even hear the explanation.
She just stared.
“Why… is she so beautiful?” she whispered unconsciously.
The video kept playing.
Ten minutes… twenty minutes…
But instead of notes, her notebook slowly filled with small doodles of the teacher’s face.
By the time she looked at the clock again, her heart dropped.
The study time was over.
And she had learned absolutely nothing.
Except one thing.
She had just experienced love at first sight.
