Chapter 1

In a large world, in a world where there are social class differences and differences in beliefs, when you dive deeper and deeper into it, there was a boy named Alexander. They lived in England, in London. A wise boy, but he had a slightly crazy and special personality and a difference that made it easy to love him. He grew up in a middle-class family and lived an ordinary life, like any child who was growing up and had an ordinary life. He was a strong and calm boy, and he was raised with a good upbringing. He felt that he understood life and was very smart; perhaps that was a bit of arrogance for Alexander. His family was entirely based on the Christian religion, but they were not completely religious people, but as a belief, they were on that religion. He grew up that way and studied as a student, and his wish and desire was to help, so his hope was to become a doctor to serve citizens without discrimination and help them in the best way.

A strong, calm, and energetic boy, he remained that way until he reached the age of 15 and went to school like any ordinary day, and in his class, he was one of the smart students. The day Alexander went, a new friend came to their class. Perhaps Alexander was a special person, but in all the age he had experienced, he had never felt that someone was completely special to him. He saw the new student for the first time. She was a different person, different clothes, a stronger and different personality than all those he had seen in his life. She initially caught Alexander's attention, but no feeling or anything was noticed between them; only the difference of that girl made Alexander see her in that different way, and only that had fascinated him.

That different person was a girl named Iman. Iman, who had just come to Alexander's class, and on the other hand, their house was in the same neighborhood as Alexander's family. She was a wise and introverted girl with a beautiful personality, who, on the contrary, was born into a Muslim family. Iman's father was a religious man; it can be said that the strong and different personality of that girl and her resilience entirely go back to the upbringing of an excellent father, certainly. She did not have a life completely like Alexander's; she only lived with her mother. The person who raised Iman and made her that strong girl was her father. Iman's father passed away from cancer. While she loved her father very much, and her father, as long as he remained alive, gave good advice to his daughter to have faith in God, and at no time turn her back on her only God and remember Him. When she felt lonely, to seek refuge in Him; He is the best person when you are alone and cannot express or reveal your pains to anyone. Her father was the only man in her life, the only love of her life. He taught her life. He worked hard to raise a girl with a strong and solid personality beautifully and without any problems and to live peacefully. A very strong relationship existed between them until the time her father fell ill and passed away. Perhaps her father died, but Iman always felt his presence; she felt protected because she has a God.Perhaps her father died, but he left behind a strong girl; she promised after her father's death to become a doctor and try to treat people. Iman changed a lot after her father's death; she became an introverted girl, and after her father, she was no longer an open person. She lived in Newcastle, but after her father's death, she changed a lot, and only her mother remained with her. Her mother wanted to be strong for her daughter and to change their place of residence because Iman, after her father's death, did not speak as before and was not normal. Therefore, they came to London, and she wanted to achieve her dreams of becoming a doctor in a normal and quiet way; this was three years after her father's death. From her clothes, her behavior, her beauty, and her silence, if she were among a thousand girls, you could recognize her by her difference from the others. Because she was still that same little girl who was the product of her good father's upbringing, who taught her to believe in destiny and truth, to accept them, to be religious, and to protect herself from bad people.

Above everyone else, Alexander felt the difference of that girl among all of them. This was not a youthful infatuation, but he felt that Iman was different; he had never seen any human being like that, let alone a girl. Alexander was a cheerful person with his friends, while Iman was closed and had a strong personality. Because of her difference, he felt that he should welcome her because she looked like a good person. He went to her for the first time and said: "Hello, I am Alexander. Welcome to our school. Here everyone is a friend and we respect each other, and you have chosen the right place." Alexander extended his hand to shake hands with her, but here, Iman, without even looking at him or giving him any attention, refused and said: "It is not appropriate for your hand to touch my hand, but thank you for your words, I highly value your welcome, thank you again." Alexander found it strange because it might have been a normal thing for him, but he did not misunderstand the girl and thought to himself: "What is the reason she was not ready to shake hands with me?"

A day later passed, and Iman, who was a closed girl compared to the others, was alone, while the others were just joking with their friends and talking to each other. But she stood in isolation and was in another world, imagining the presence of her father, and tears came to her eyes, and she thought that she still needs to be a strong girl and whatever is in God's destiny is the truth and the best thing. Alexander saw her again. What was strange was that Alexander was in deep thought all night about why she refused to shake hands with him. Alexander went to school the next day and saw that Iman was alone and looked upset. Perhaps here too he did not fully feel something, but he wanted to go and talk to her. Alexander went to her without hesitation, called her, and said:

"Iman? How are you? How is this place? Be sure that you will be fine here as I told you yesterday."

Iman answered him without fully looking into Alexander's eyes, and this made Alexander find it even stranger, and her differences were becoming completely clear to him. Iman said in a very normal way

: "Thank you for your kindness, I am comfortable here."

Iman possessed a strong and solid personality; she was completely different from everyone in the school, and the first person whose attention she managed to catch was Alexander. Alexander did not stop talking; he was also someone who easily entered the heart and was open. He said:

"I grew up here in London, Iman. Where did you come from?"

Iman answered and said:

"We lived in Newcastle, but my mother decided after a few years that we should come and live in London. This is generally a beautiful city."

Alexander did not give up and continued talking, he said to Iman:

"I am sorry if you don't like it, but you are the most attractive among everyone. This is not like showing yourself off; your difference is completely apparent and can be felt. You are very silent, your name is different, you fascinated me. Here, I might have had normal relationships with others, but you appeared more different than the others. If you want, we can become friends and know each other more. Can we know each other more?"

Iman answered and said:

"Perhaps knowing me won't change anything, Alexander. You are a kind person and I feel it, but perhaps my mind is not completely on friendship right now. What I want is to be alone; I am very sorry, Alexander."

Alexander had a big heart, he felt that something was hurting her, and he looked at Iman very calmly and said:

"Okay, whenever you need something, your friend is here and will help you."

Iman said: "I hope I won't need you."

Alexander answered again and said with a laugh:

"I hope so too, but we will see each other again, friend."

Time passed and the students went back to their class, and the teacher entered. Their teacher decided that the students, in groups of two, should prepare a report about something in life, like a story, a writing about someone, or something historical. Here, Alexander asked to be with Iman for the same project. The teacher agreed without saying anything more and said:

"You can arrange it among yourselves."

Iman remained silent and said nothing, and Alexander was smiling and laughing.

Until the lesson ended, he went back to Iman again and said:

"I had no idea other than choosing you, my friend."

Iman answered and said:

"I am not your friend, remember that."

Alexander said: "Even if we are not friends, we can become friends; what happens, Iman? You are very silent and say nothing. How can a girl with different clothes and beauty like you be like this? Is something hurting you? You can trust me. There is nothing here to be afraid of, and it is not easy to taste your pains alone. We can become friends, and then I will also grieve with you, and you will see me and become better for my sake."

Iman remained silent and wanted to leave, and Alexander followed her and told her again:

"Whenever you go back home, think about the project, my friend."

But Iman looked at him and was angry and said: "How many more times should I say it? You and I are not friends."

Later, Iman left, and Alexander laughed and said to himself: "You succeeded; she will definitely be ready to prepare the project with you, Alexander."

Time passed and that day completely passed, and Iman went back home and prayed like every ordinary day. Afterwards, she went to her mother; she was very silent. Her mother said to her: "Why are you so silent?"

Iman said it was nothing.

Iman's mother looked at her daughter and answered, saying: "I know my own daughter; can I know if something has made you upset?"

Iman answered and talked about the teacher's words regarding the project completely, and her mother said: "Do you have any problem with that?"

Iman said: "My only problem is that neighbor boy; I don't want to have a friendship or complete a project with him."

Her mother said: "What exactly is your problem? They were very good when we arrived here, and even Alexander's mother is a good person and spoke very well of her son."

Iman said: "Mother, you tell me, who has spoken badly about their close person?"

Her mother laughed and said: "It is normal to become his friend; perhaps he is a good person. You just interact with him within the framework of a school friend and have no problem.""You are my strong girl, and I have always had confidence in you; you can overcome all your problems."

This made Iman's heart ease a little after her mother's words, so she decided for the day after that to complete the project in partnership with Alexander. Alexander, after he returned home and his family asked him about school, answered with a smile and said:

"I am fine like every day, and I can be even better. Do you know? The teacher told us to prepare a project in a group of two people; Iman and I are in the same group. Yes, the one who is our neighbor."

And Alexander continued his words and said: "Iman is a different girl; she is beautiful and possesses a strong and beautiful personality, but she is a bit angry, and several times I tried in a normal way to become her friend, but she refused. The problem might not be with me, but she is always alone, you know? But you can easily notice her difference."
