Months later. Henri’s basement studio is gone, sold to pay off his debts.

We see Henri sitting on a bench in the Jardin du Luxembourg. He no longer wears his noise-canceling headphones. He is profoundly, almost completely deaf now—the final consequence of his years under the headphones and the power surge.

Maya approaches him, sitting down by his side. She doesn't speak; she doesn't need to. She hands him a small, heavy object. It’s a music box she built herself.

Henri places his hand on the wooden lid. Because he cannot hear it, he closes his eyes and feels the vibrations through his fingertips. It’s the distinct, rhythmic thunk-thunk of spray paint cans, followed by the gentle, imperfect cadence of a Chopin nocturne.

He smiles. The past is gone, but the world is beautifully, vibrantly loud.
