Chapter 1 She first fell for him....

One night, they were caught.

The silence turned into screams. Faces turned. Questions hurled. Aisha stood there, exposed, shivering in the ruins of the only love she had ever known.

But she didn’t lie.

She told the truth — all of it.

The touches. The kisses. The nights. The blood.

Everything she had given him, piece by piece, until there was nothing left of her.

Her chachu, stunned but composed, asked only one question:

"If it was real, if you both are serious… I will take the blame. I will fight the world."

Aisha’s heart fluttered for the first time in weeks.

Maybe love could still be saved.

But then…

Kabir never came.

He didn’t call. He didn’t explain.

And when he finally opened his mouth — it wasn’t to protect her.

It was to destroy her.

"She forced me."

"She touched me inappropriately."

"I never liked her."

"I never wanted this."

He lied.

So easily.

So coldly.

As if she was just a stain he wanted to wash off.

He didn't just break her heart. He burned the very idea of love from her soul.

She screamed in silence for days, nights.

Begged God — not for justice, not for revenge — but for one more chance to be his.

Even now, in the ruins of her self-worth, she still whispers his name in her prayers.

She was ready to ruin herself just to be his wife.

She was ready to fight everyone, even God.

But he?

He was never ready to fight for her.

Not even once.

Her family… they held her when she couldn’t stand. They believed her when the world didn’t.

They didn’t ask why.

They only said, “We’re here.”

But they’ll never know the truth —

That Aisha died the day Kabir lived without guilt.

She still wakes up hoping it was all a nightmare.

That he’ll call. That he’ll come back. That he’ll say, “I lied, I love you.”

But he doesn’t.

And she?

She’s just learning to breathe without her heart.....
