"Actually LOVED reading this, and it saved me from my reading slump I was in. I barely put my phone down if I'm honest. I would have preferred more leo povs BUT it did mean when we got them I was even happier. The plots development feels nicely paced and I like that we weren't given a full trauma Backstory right at the start. Obviously we now know what happened from Anne's perspective but her chatting to Emil about his thoughts on it reveals something else, same with Leo's reaction. I'm interested in what's still to be explored and clearer up in terms of that. What I did pick up on was sometimes there would be a description using a specific phrase for example 'I would have rather crashed into the rink barriers any day' (when she's talking about something she didn't want to do) that quote isn't exact but it wassomething along those lines. The problem lies in the fact a few paragraphs down almost the exact same line would be used. This made it almost seem like AI had assisted it, which wasn't labelled so I'm not sure if I'm reading into it. Maybe it's an honest mistake and the author didn't realise they had just used that phrase, but even so it distracted me from what was happening in that scene. That is the only reason the writing style is 4 ⭐ not 5. Overall I was gutted when I realised it wasn't complete yet, and I'm so excited for the next update. ❤️❤️❤️ "

It has everything that makes a sports romance addictive- the only girl on the hockey team, a super hot captain who acts like he can’t stand her, forced roommates, and so much tension that I was kicking my feet the whole time. I mean, Leo is the kind of character you want to hate, but then you know the author is going to have you suddenly screaming at the page. The chemistry between them and the fact that she used to have a crush on him but now hates him makes everything even better."
