Author Note
Author Note:
Before reading this, a few things need to be noted. First, this is my first time actually writing something to be published. But it is still far from perfect and would appreciate constructive criticism for this future novel. I have written drafts of this story would be reading soon, but I never published them since they lacked clear direction. So the chapters here so far are the result of major rewrites and revisions, in terms of plot and descriptions of such characters, events, plot points, etc. Second, what I am writing about in this book is a part of a personal world-building project I have been working on for years (since 2022). This universe started as a collection of lore bits for a Minecraft mod. Fun fact: the title of the novel is based on the title of my very old Minecraft mod (7-27-22) of the same name. Over time, and with a friend on Discord, the A-Virus lore and the world-building behind it slowly grew into something worthy of more than just a mod. I had plans with my friend to make a video game based on it, but that never materialized. I previously wrote some A-Virus stories, but they also never really materialized. But overall, I hope the best for this book and the A-Virus universe. There will be more edits and revisions of this book until I deem it satisfactory. Also, the chapters will be published over time.
Edit (5/20/26): Chapter Three is now out for reading, and I hope that you enjoy it. It majorly expands the world-building side of this novel, as well as adding more to the characters, which I won't list here to avoid spoiling the book for new readers. Also, remove the summary here as it was just a repeat of what I have to provide for the book. Happy reading!
Edit (6/30/26): It’s been a bit since I last wrote something for this book, but like I said a few days ago, I am in the works for a total rewrite of the novel. So there will be some changes, both major and minor. But in the meanwhile, any feedback will be deeply appreciated as to improve the quality of the novel and to give pointers on possible flaws to rectify in future revisions. Thank you guys for the support.

Hi author! I really appreciate some good world-building. I do that a lot myself especially with fantasy and sci-fi stories.
I just want to wish you the best of luck with this book, especially knowing how long you’ve been developing the idea. I haven’t read it yet (about to), but once I do, I’ll definitely share my thoughts with you. 💜
I love to see you doing this. Your work has come such a long way. Thankyou for sharing it and I look forward to reading this great book of yours and hope for many more.
