ACT 1 — THE RETURN
EXT. HILL-TOWN HIGHWAY – EVENING
A cold evening. Dark clouds cover the sky.
The road is empty and silent.
Rey (20), slim, sharp-eyed, wearing a hoodie, steps out of an old bus.
After ten years, he is finally back in his hometown.
But he doesn’t look happy at all.
Rey mutters quietly:
“Great. Haunted town vibes… exactly what I needed.”
The small hill town feels strange. Quiet. Uncomfortable.
INT. OLD TAXI – CONTINUOUS
Rey sits inside a rusty taxi.
The driver looks at him through the mirror.
Driver:
“You are Reeyansh, right? Mr. Malhotra’s son?”
Without looking at him, Rey replies:
Rey:
“Ex-husband of my mom’s son. Better pronunciation.”
The driver becomes awkwardly silent.
EXT. MOM’S HOUSE – SUNSET
Rey stands outside the house.
Same walls.
Same windows.
Same cold feeling.
Ten years ago, this was the house where his parents divorced.
This was the house where the family broke apart.
The front door slowly opens.
His mother stands there.
She looks exhausted, stressed, and emotionally drained.
For a moment, she cannot speak.
Mom (softly):
“Rey…”
Rey:
“Mom.”
The atmosphere is cold and awkward.
But in her eyes, Rey notices something strange:
Relief… and fear.
INT. MOM’S HOUSE – LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
The house is messy and silent.
Nancy’s photos cover the walls.
Old birthday decorations still remain.
Missing posters are scattered across the table.
Rey looks shocked.
Rey:
“You called me after seven days?”
His mother lowers her eyes.
Mom:
“I thought she was with friends… you know Nancy… adventurous… but…”
Her voice shakes.
Mom:
“Her phone is off. Nobody knows where she is.”
Rey sits down and rubs his face.
He hates being here.
But hearing Nancy’s name affects him deeply.
Rey:
“Did you call the police?”
Mom:
“Yes. But they keep saying young adults run away sometimes.”
She looks terrified.
Mom:
“But Nancy never disappears. She always tells me everything.”
Rey clenches his jaw.
He is angry at the town.
At the situation.
At himself.
At his mother.
Quietly, she says:
Mom:
“I only called you when I realized… I can’t lose both my children.”
Rey looks away.
After a pause, he speaks.
Rey:
“I’m not here to meet you, Mom.”
His voice becomes firmer.
Rey:
“I’m here to find Nancy.”
His mother tries to touch his shoulder.
Rey steps back.
Then he asks quietly:
Rey:
“When was she last seen?”
Tears fill his mother’s eyes.
Mom:
“Exactly one week ago.”
She hesitates.
Mom:
“That night… I heard strange noises downstairs. I thought Nancy had returned.”
Rey listens carefully.
Mom:
“But when I came down… the back door was slightly open.”
Rey freezes.
Rey:
“You never told the police that?”
His mother whispers:
Mom:
“I was scared.”
Silence fills the room.
Rey slowly turns toward the back door.
Fresh scratch marks are visible on the wood.
Lightning flashes outside.
Wind whistles through the trees.
For a split second…
Something red moves behind the trees.
Rey doesn’t notice it.
But someone is watching.
The first sign of
THE RED MASK.
ACT 2 — REY MEETS THE PAST
EXT. BACKYARD – NIGHT
Rey slowly steps outside into the backyard.
This is the same place where he thought he saw a red figure earlier.
But now…
There is nothing.
Only cold wind moving through the trees.
Silence.
Rey looks around carefully.
His face is filled with guilt and confusion.
Rey (quietly):
“Nancy… where the hell did you go?”
No answer.
He finally walks back inside.
INT. MOM’S HOUSE – DINING ROOM – NIGHT
Rey’s mother places dinner on the table.
She forces a small, hopeful smile.
Mom:
“Rey… will you have dinner with me? Please?”
Rey stiffens immediately.
Rey:
“Mom, I—”
Before he can refuse, his phone rings.
Dad calling.
Rey walks to the corner of the room and answers.
INT. DINING ROOM CORNER – CONTINUOUS
His father’s voice is calm but serious.
Dad:
“Rey, maybe you should go back home once Nancy returns.”
Rey stays silent.
Dad:
“But right now… your mother is alone.”
Rey sighs quietly.
Rey:
“Dad, I don’t want to stay here. She—”
His father interrupts gently.
Dad:
“Have dinner with her.”
A pause.
Dad:
“It’s only for a few days. We’ll find Nancy.”
His voice softens.
Dad:
“Whatever problems you and your mother have… your sister matters more right now.”
Rey closes his eyes.
He hates hearing it.
Because he knows his father is right.
After a long silence—
Rey:
“Fine.”
The call ends.
INT. DINING TABLE – NIGHT
Rey slowly sits down at the table.
His mother looks genuinely relieved.
Mom (softly):
“Thank you.”
Rey does not reply.
But he starts eating.
The atmosphere is still cold between them.
Years of pain cannot disappear in one night.
Still…
For the first time in years, they sit together quietly.
No music.
No conversation.
Just two broken people eating dinner while worrying about the same girl.
NEXT MORNING
EXT. OLD GROUND – MORNING
Rey walks through an old open field near the town.
This was the place where he spent most of his childhood.
He played cricket here with Nancy.
Hide-and-seek with his friends.
This was also the place where he first realized he was different from everyone else.
He stands silently, lost in memories.
Birds chirp in the distance.
But something feels missing.
Nancy’s laughter.
EXT. SAME GROUND – CONTINUOUS
Suddenly—
A loud voice breaks the silence.
“REY??”
Rey turns around.
Six people run toward him.
Nihaal.
Meenakshi.
Akash.
Daksh.
Ridhima.
Cheerag.
His entire childhood friend group.
They stop in front of him, shocked and excited.
Meenakshi:
“Oh my God, Rey! After ten years?!”
Nihaal immediately hugs him tightly.
Nihaal:
“You disappeared after moving away with your dad!”
Akash laughs.
Akash:
“Look who’s back. Mr. Big City Boy.”
For the first time since arriving…
Rey smiles genuinely.
LATER – FRIENDS SITTING TOGETHER
The group sits in a circle on the grass.
An awkward silence slowly appears.
Then Ridhima speaks softly.
Ridhima:
“We heard Nancy is missing…”
Rey’s smile fades immediately.
He nods quietly.
Cheerag leans forward seriously.
Cheerag:
“Police aren’t doing enough.”
He looks directly at Rey.
Cheerag:
“We’ll help you find her.”
Rey looks surprised.
Rey:
“You guys would really do that? After ten years?”
Daksh answers firmly.
Daksh:
“Friendship doesn’t expire, idiot.”
Meenakshi gently holds Rey’s hand.
Meenakshi:
“We’ll find her together.”
Rey looks down, emotional.
His eyes become slightly wet.
Rey:
“She’s annoying… but she never disappears like this.”
He swallows hard.
Rey:
“Honestly… I’ve been scared since yesterday.”
Nihaal suddenly slaps Rey’s back jokingly.
Nihaal:
“Then relax, Detective Rey!”
He points dramatically at everyone.
Nihaal:
“Operation Nancy Rescue officially begins now!”
Everyone laughs.
Even Rey laughs with them.
For the first time since returning home…
He feels hope again.
ACT 3 — THE FIRST BLOOD
INT. MOM’S HOUSE – LATE EVENING
Rey returns home.
The house is completely dark.
Silent.
He steps inside carefully.
Rey:
“Mom? Mom?”
No answer.
A small wave of panic hits him.
He quickly takes out his phone and calls her.
After a few rings, she answers.
Mom (on phone):
“I’m at the nearby temple, beta. I’ll be home in a few minutes.”
Rey exhales in relief.
Rey:
“Okay… I thought something happened.”
A pause.
Rey:
“Come back soon.”
The call ends.
For a moment, Rey relaxes.
INT. LIVING ROOM – CONTINUOUS
Rey decides to call his father.
Rey:
“Dad, I need to tell you some—”
Busy tone.
Rey frowns.
Rey:
“Seriously?”
He tries again.
Still busy.
Now he looks confused.
And irritated.
Suddenly—
His phone rings.
Rey jumps slightly before answering.
A deep voice speaks from the other side.
Inspector Pandey:
“Reeyansh Malhotra?”
Rey:
“Yes?”
The voice becomes serious.
Inspector Pandey:
“There has been a development in Nancy’s case.”
Rey immediately stands up straight.
Inspector Pandey:
“I need you at the police station. Right now.”
Rey’s heartbeat quickens.
Rey:
“What happened? Did you find something about Nancy?”
A pause.
Then—
Inspector Pandey:
“I’ll explain when you get here.”
The call ends.
Without thinking, Rey rushes out of the house so quickly that he accidentally leaves his phone on the table.
PARALLEL SEQUENCE
INT. POLICE STATION – NIGHT
Rey sits across from Inspector Pandey.
A grainy CCTV recording plays on a monitor.
The footage shows Nancy walking near a forest trail late at night.
She looks nervous.
She keeps turning around as if someone is following her.
Rey stares at the screen, shaken.
Rey:
“Who was behind her?”
Inspector Pandey:
“We still don’t know.”
Rey grips the edge of the table tightly.
Rey:
“She was alone in the forest at night?”
Inspector Pandey nods slowly.
Inspector Pandey:
“We only received this footage today.”
Rey’s mind races with fear.
PARALLEL
EXT. OLD GROUND – NIGHT
Meenakshi looks down at her phone.
A message from Rey is displayed on the screen.
“Can we meet? I need to tell you something important.”
She looks worried.
Meenakshi:
“Nihaal… Rey looked upset earlier. Let’s go check on him.”
Nihaal nods immediately.
Nihaal:
“Of course.”
The two walk toward the old playground where Rey and his friends used to spend their childhood.
At night, the place feels completely different.
Cold wind.
Dim lights.
Dark trees moving slowly in the background.
EXT. OLD GROUND – CONTINUOUS
Meenakshi looks around nervously.
Meenakshi:
“Rey? We’re here!”
No answer.
Nihaal turns on his flashlight and scans the area.
Something feels wrong.
The wind grows stronger.
Bushes rustle nearby.
Meenakshi takes another step forward.
Meenakshi:
“Rey… are you—”
Suddenly—
A figure steps out of the darkness behind them.
A long red cloak.
A red mask.
A large butcher knife shining under the dim light.
Nihaal freezes.
Nihaal:
“What the hell…?”
The masked figure tilts its head slowly.
Then—
WHOOSH.
The knife slashes across Nihaal’s chest.
Blood sprays across the ground.
Meenakshi screams.
Meenakshi:
“NIHAAAL!”
Nihaal collapses, gasping in pain.
Before Meenakshi can run, the Red Mask Killer grabs her by the hair and drags her backward.
She cries and kicks desperately.
Meenakshi:
“REY! HELP! PLEASE—!”
No one comes.
The knife rises again.
STAB.
STAB.
STAB.
Her screams slowly disappear into the night.
The ground becomes soaked in blood.
Two bodies lie motionless under the cold sky.
CUT BACK TO POLICE STATION
Inspector Pandey’s radio suddenly crackles loudly.
A frightened officer speaks through static.
“Sir… two bodies found at the old ground… it’s bad…”
The room immediately becomes tense.
Rey looks confused.
Rey:
“W-what happened?”
Inspector Pandey slowly turns toward him.
His expression changes.
Heavy.
Disturbed.
Inspector Pandey:
“A phone was recovered near the bodies.”
A pause.
Inspector Pandey:
“Rey… it was your phone.”
Rey freezes completely.
His face loses all color.
Rey (whispering):
“My phone…?”
Inspector Pandey swallows hard before speaking again.
Inspector Pandey:
“The victims appear to be Meenakshi and Nihaal.”
Rey’s blood runs cold.
Fear fills his eyes as the reality crashes into him.
Somewhere out there…
A killer is wearing red.
And now—
Rey has become part of the nightmare.
ACT 4 — THE BLOOD AT THE DOOR
INT. POLICE STATION – NIGHT
Rey sits frozen in shock.
The room feels heavy after the murders of Meenakshi and Nihaal.
Detectives whisper quietly in the background.
Some officers keep looking at Rey suspiciously.
Suddenly, Rey snaps.
Rey:
“I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING! I was here!”
Inspector Pandey raises his hand calmly.
Inspector Pandey:
“Relax, Rey. We know.”
He places a file on the table.
Inspector Pandey:
“From 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Rey was with me at the station.”
He pauses.
Inspector Pandey:
“His phone was left at home.”
Another pause.
Inspector Pandey:
“Someone is framing him.”
The room becomes silent.
DETECTIVE SHYAAM ENTERS
A sharp-eyed detective walks into the room.
Quiet. Analytical. Focused.
This is Detective Shyaam.
He opens the case file.
Shyaam:
“The victims were killed at the same location where Rey received the message.”
He flips another page.
Shyaam:
“And Rey’s phone was placed beside the bodies.”
Shyaam looks directly at the officers.
Shyaam:
“This is classic framing behavior.”
The room listens carefully.
Shyaam:
“The killer wants the police to believe Rey is responsible.”
He pauses.
Shyaam:
“Because Rey is the only person seriously trying to find Nancy.”
Slowly, the officers begin nodding.
For the first time that night—
Rey feels like someone finally believes him.
INT. POLICE STATION – MOMENTS LATER
The station doors suddenly burst open.
Rey’s mother rushes inside, terrified and breathless.
Mom:
“Rey! Are you okay? I heard about the murders—”
Inspector Pandey gently helps her sit down.
Inspector Pandey:
“Madam, both you and Rey may be in danger.”
Her face turns pale.
Inspector Pandey:
“The killer is targeting Rey.”
He looks serious.
Inspector Pandey:
“And there is a chance the killer could come to your house next.”
Tears fill her eyes immediately.
Rey looks away awkwardly.
But seeing his mother this frightened softens him a little.
Inspector Pandey:
“We’ll escort you both home.”
He signals toward two officers nearby.
Inspector Pandey:
“And two policemen will stay outside your house tonight.”
EXT. MOM’S HOUSE – NIGHT
A police jeep drops Rey and his mother home.
Two armed constables stand outside the gate, fully alert.
One officer hands Rey a backup phone.
Officer:
“You can use this to contact anyone.”
A pause.
Officer:
“Try calling your father again.”
Rey immediately dials his father.
Busy tone.
Again.
Still busy.
Rey’s expression darkens.
Something feels wrong.
Rey (quietly):
“Why has Dad’s phone been busy for hours?”
His mother forces a weak explanation.
Mom:
“Maybe office work…”
Rey stares at her.
Rey:
“At 10 PM?”
She cannot answer.
Now both of them are worried.
THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS
INT. MOM’S HOUSE – LATE NIGHT
Rey and his mother finally sit down near the dining table.
For one brief moment—
Everything feels calm.
Then—
CRASHHH!!!
A window explodes inward.
Glass flies across the room.
Rey jumps back instantly.
His mother screams.
Something rolls across the floor.
A human head.
One of the policemen from outside.
Severed.
Blood splatters across the couch and walls.
Rey’s mother collapses backward in terror.
Rey’s face turns white.
Rey (whispering):
“Oh my God…”
His mother screams uncontrollably.
Mom:
“REEEEY!!!”
Rey grabs her arm tightly.
EXT. BROKEN WINDOW – SAME MOMENT
A figure slowly climbs through the shattered frame.
A full red costume.
A red mask.
A butcher knife dripping with blood.
The figure tilts its head silently.
Watching them.
Waiting.
The Red Mask Killer takes one slow step forward.
Rey’s mother gasps.
Rey instantly pulls her back.
Rey:
“MOM, RUN!”
INT. HOUSE – CONTINUOUS
They run toward the front door in complete panic.
Blood stains the floor behind them.
As they reach the porch—
Rey’s mother nearly faints.
The second policeman lies outside.
Brutally mutilated.
His body twisted unnaturally.
Rey quickly pulls her away.
Rey:
“Don’t look! DON’T LOOK!”
Behind them—
The Red Mask Killer walks slowly through the house.
Not running.
Just calmly following them.
Knife dripping.
Almost enjoying the fear.
EXT. FRONT GATE – CONTINUOUS
Rey pushes open the front gate desperately.
Then freezes.
Another figure is standing outside.
Another red mask.
Another butcher knife.
Rey’s eyes widen in horror.
Rey (whispering):
“There are… two of them?”
His mother screams.
The second killer raises the knife.
Without thinking, Rey grabs a stone from the ground and throws it hard.
THWACK!
The stone smashes against the killer’s mask.
The figure stumbles backward.
Rey immediately grabs his terrified mother and runs down the street.
Behind them—
Both Red Mask Killers begin chasing them through the darkness.
EXT. LONELY ROAD – NIGHT
Rey and his mother run blindly through the empty road.
Out of breath.
Terrified.
Hopeless.
Then—
Headlights appear ahead.
A van approaches.
Rey waves desperately.
Rey:
“STOP! PLEASE!”
The van screeches to a halt.
The driver looks shocked.
Driver:
“What happened?!”
Rey quickly pushes his mother inside before climbing in himself.
The van speeds away.
Just as the two Red Mask Killers reach the road—
Swinging their knives through empty air.
Rey looks back through the rear window.
Two red figures stand silently in the darkness.
Watching the van disappear.
Their masks glowing under the streetlights.
ACT 5 — THE BLAME GAME
INT. POLICE STATION – NIGHT
Rey and his mother sit inside the station again.
Both are shaken beyond words.
Inspector Pandey tries to calm the situation.
Pandey:
“Everything will be under control. We’re placing officers around the area all night.”
The moment Rey hears that—
He explodes.
Rey (shaking with anger):
“Under control?! There were two policemen outside my house!”
His voice cracks.
Rey:
“They’re dead! My mom and I barely survived!”
The entire station falls silent.
Rey’s mother places a trembling hand on his shoulder and gives him water.
Rey’s breathing slowly steadies—
Then suddenly—
The station door opens.
Rey looks up hopefully.
For one second, he thinks his friends have come to support him.
Instead—
Daksh.
Ridhima.
Aakash.
Cheerag.
The atmosphere instantly turns cold.
Daksh looks terrified.
Almost paranoid.
Daksh:
“Rey… ever since you came back, all of this started happening.”
He swallows nervously.
Daksh:
“Meenakshi and Nihaal are dead.”
Ridhima’s voice trembles.
Ridhima:
“We’re scared, Rey.”
Tears form in her eyes.
Ridhima:
“Everyone around you is dying.”
Rey stares at them in disbelief.
His childhood friends.
Blaming him.
After everything.
His face goes completely blank.
Rey (quietly):
“You seriously think this is my fault?”
Before anyone can answer—
Aakash steps forward.
Aakash:
“Enough.”
He looks angrily at Daksh and Ridhima.
Aakash:
“Rey came here to find his sister.”
He points toward Rey.
Aakash:
“His house was attacked tonight.”
Cheerag also steps in.
Cheerag:
“Stop blaming him.”
His voice rises.
Cheerag:
“The killer is targeting all of us. Don’t take your fear out on Rey.”
But Daksh and Ridhima are too scared to think rationally anymore.
The argument quickly escalates.
Shouting.
Pushing.
Almost turning into a fight.
Rey watches all of it silently.
And something inside him breaks.
He slowly backs away toward a corner of the station.
His hands tremble.
His eyes fill with tears.
One thought keeps echoing in his mind—
“Everyone close to me dies…”
Rey lowers his head.
Then quietly turns around.
And walks out of the station alone.
Inspector Pandey notices immediately.
Pandey:
“Rey!”
But Rey keeps walking.
He doesn’t stop.
He doesn’t even look back.
ACT 6 — THE FOREST OF DEATH
EXT. FOREST ROAD – NIGHT
Rey walks alone through the dark forest path.
Broken.
Lost.
The wind howls through the trees.
Dead leaves crunch beneath his feet.
The entire forest feels empty.
Then—
A flashlight beam appears in the distance.
A silhouette walks ahead slowly.
Rey squints through the darkness.
Rey:
“Shyaam?”
No response.
The figure keeps walking.
Slowly.
Almost unnaturally calm.
Rey steps closer.
Rey:
“Shyaam!”
Still nothing.
Now worried, Rey rushes forward and grabs the figure’s shoulder—
The body turns.
Rey freezes.
His blood turns cold.
It isn’t Shyaam walking.
It’s Shyaam’s corpse.
His chest ripped open.
His face slashed apart.
His body mutilated beyond recognition.
As if someone tortured him before killing him.
Rey stumbles backward in horror.
Rey:
“NO—! NO NO NO!”
He collapses beside the bushes and vomits violently.
His scream echoes through the forest.
Moments later—
Flashlights appear everywhere.
Police officers.
His friends.
His mother.
Everyone comes running toward the sound.
Ridhima instantly screams after seeing the body.
Daksh breaks down crying.
Aakash stands frozen in shock.
Rey’s mother rushes toward Rey and grabs him tightly.
Inspector Pandey arrives last.
And for the first time—
Even he looks terrified.
He stares at Shyaam’s body silently.
Then speaks in a low, hopeless voice.
Pandey:
“No one is safe anymore.”
A long pause.
Pandey:
“Not one person.”
He immediately calls for backup.
Police sirens begin echoing through the forest.
Pandey turns toward the group sharply.
Pandey:
“Everybody leaves NOW.”
His tone becomes urgent.
Pandey:
“This place is no longer safe.”
CAR ESCAPE SEQUENCE
Cheerag’s house is the closest nearby safe location.
So Pandey decides Rey, Rey’s mother, Aakash, and Cheerag should travel together in a police escort vehicle.
EXT. LONELY ROAD – NIGHT
A narrow road cuts through the darkness.
Heavy fog covers the street.
The police driver keeps the headlights low.
Inside the vehicle, nobody speaks.
Then suddenly—
Movement ahead.
A RED MASK KILLER steps directly onto the road.
Full red outfit.
Knife shining under the headlights.
Without warning—
The killer grabs a vegetable cart from the roadside and hurls it directly toward the vehicle.
CRASH!
The windshield shatters.
The driver loses control.
The car spins violently off the road—
And smashes directly into a tree.
Metal crunches.
Glass explodes everywhere.
For a moment—
Silence.
Everyone slowly realizes—
Rey is alive.
His mother is alive.
Cheerag is alive.
Aakash is alive.
But the police driver—
His neck is broken.
Dead instantly.
Rey shakily grabs the driver’s gun.
Then—
A blur moves between the trees.
The Red Mask Killer suddenly lunges forward—
And grabs Rey’s mother.
Something inside Rey snaps instantly.
Rey (screaming):
“MOM! LET HER GO!”
Without thinking—
Rey fires.
BANG!
The bullet hits the killer’s shoulder.
The masked figure falls backward into the darkness.
Everyone rushes toward the spot—
But the killer is gone.
Completely vanished.
No blood trail.
No footprints.
Nothing.
As if the forest swallowed him whole.
Aakash stares around in panic.
Aakash:
“How is that even possible?!”
Cheerag immediately points down the road.
Cheerag:
“My house is close!”
He grabs Rey’s arm.
Cheerag:
“Come on!”
Rey helps his terrified mother stand.
Then the four of them begin running through the dark road together—
Terrified.
Exhausted.
And fully aware that the nightmare is only getting worse.
ACT 7 — CHEERAG’S HOUSE HORROR SEQUENCE
INT. CHEERAG’S HOUSE – NIGHT
Cheerag’s house finally feels like a safe place.
At least for a moment.
Aakash, Cheerag, Rey, and Rey’s mother sit inside the dim living room, exhausted and traumatized.
Nobody speaks.
Rey’s mother sits wrapped in a blanket, struggling to control her breathing.
Rey sits silently in the corner, gripping the stolen police gun tightly with trembling hands.
Outside—
The storm continues.
Inside—
Only fear remains.
For one brief second…
It almost feels peaceful.
Then—
KNOCK.
Silence.
Another knock.
KNOCK.
Everyone freezes instantly.
Then—
One final knock.
KNOCK.
Cheerag slowly stands up.
Rey immediately looks at him.
Rey (whispering):
“Don’t.”
A pause.
Rey:
“Please… don’t open it.”
Cheerag stops moving.
Nobody breathes.
Then suddenly—
THAAAAAD!!!
Something heavy slams against the front gate.
The sound shakes the entire house.
Rey’s mother screams.
Rey instantly raises the gun.
Aakash, panicking, ignores everyone and rushes toward the entrance.
Cheerag:
“Aakash, WAIT!”
Too late.
Aakash unlocks the gate.
The door slowly creaks open.
Darkness waits outside.
Then—
A body.
Lying twisted near the entrance.
Aakash lifts his flashlight slowly.
The light reveals—
Daksh.
Dead.
His body completely butchered.
Chest torn apart.
Face destroyed beyond recognition.
Blood spreads across the floor like spilled water.
Aakash freezes in horror.
Everyone behind him screams at once.
Rey:
“DON’T OPEN THE DOOR!”
Cheerag:
“AAKASH!”
But it’s already too late.
Aakash slowly turns back toward them—
And suddenly—
A RED MASK KILLER bursts from behind the gate like a shadow.
Knife raised.
Aakash reacts instinctively and slams the metal gate directly into the killer’s face.
THUD!
The killer stumbles backward.
Everyone panics.
They run deeper into the house.
INT. CHEERAG’S HOUSE – CONTINUOUS
Rey grabs Cheerag desperately.
Rey:
“Where do we go?!”
Cheerag’s entire body shakes with fear.
Cheerag:
“There’s… there’s an old cellar exit behind the house.”
He points down a corridor.
Cheerag:
“We can escape through there!”
Everyone immediately runs through the hallway.
But in the chaos—
Aakash gets left behind.
TERRACE KILL — AAKASH VS THE RED MASK
EXT. TERRACE – NIGHT
Aakash runs upstairs in desperation and reaches the rooftop terrace.
The night sky is pitch black.
Strong winds howl around him.
The entire town below looks dead and empty.
Aakash stumbles toward the corner of the terrace.
Terrified.
Alone.
Broken.
He screams into the darkness.
Aakash:
“I DID EVERYTHING!”
Tears stream down his face.
Aakash:
“JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!”
Then—
Footsteps.
Slow.
Heavy.
Aakash turns around.
The Red Mask Killer stands at the terrace entrance.
Silent.
Still.
Terrifying.
The killer slowly tilts his head.
From the terrace, he can see Rey, Cheerag, and Rey’s mother escaping through the secret exit below.
Aakash notices it too.
And completely loses control.
Aakash (screaming):
“WHY US?! WHY ME?! WHY—”
SHUNK.
The butcher knife drives straight into his stomach.
Aakash gasps violently.
His voice dies instantly.
The killer calmly pushes him backward.
And—
Aakash falls from the terrace.
EXT. BACK ROAD – CONTINUOUS
Rey, Cheerag, and Rey’s mother run out from the cellar exit—
When suddenly—
THUD.
Aakash’s body crashes onto the road directly in front of them.
The knife has pierced completely through his stomach.
His body lies twisted unnaturally.
Eyes open.
Motionless.
Rey completely breaks.
Rey (screaming):
“No… NO NO NO!”
He falls to his knees.
Rey:
“AAKASH!”
His mother grabs him before he collapses entirely.
Cheerag forcefully pulls both of them forward.
Cheerag:
“Rey!”
He grabs Rey’s face hard.
Cheerag:
“LOOK AT ME!”
Rey stares at him through tears.
Cheerag:
“If we stop now…”
His voice cracks.
Cheerag:
“We die.”
A long beat.
Then Cheerag drags them forward again.
Rey follows half-consciously—
Crying.
Shaking.
Destroyed.
THE TERRACE DESCENT
Above them—
The Red Mask Killer climbs onto the terrace railing calmly.
Almost gracefully.
Then begins climbing down slowly toward the street below.
Rey accidentally looks back.
And sees him descending.
Still silent.
Still following.
Steady.
Unstoppable.
Inevitable.
ACT 8 — THE FIRST UNMASKING TWIST
EXT. REY’S HOUSE – NIGHT
Cheerag, Rey, and Rey’s mother run through the dark streets until they finally reach Rey’s house.
The place now looks completely different.
Police tape flutters in the cold wind.
“DO NOT CROSS” signs hang everywhere.
Evidence markers still cover the ground.
The same house where the nightmare began—
Now feels cursed.
Rey’s mother collapses onto the couch, exhausted and shaking.
Rey immediately grabs the phone.
His hands tremble while dialing.
Rey:
“Sir! We made it home!”
His voice cracks.
Rey:
“Please… just get here fast.”
Inspector Pandey answers instantly.
But his voice sounds disturbed.
Almost broken.
Inspector Pandey (phone):
“I went to Cheerag’s house looking for you…”
A pause.
Heavy breathing.
Inspector Pandey:
“Rey… what happened to Daksh and Aakash…”
He struggles to continue.
Inspector Pandey:
“You don’t want to see it.”
Tears fill Rey’s eyes again.
Then suddenly—
Pandey’s tone changes.
Fear mixed with realization.
Inspector Pandey:
“Rey… I think I know who the Red Mask Killer is.”
Rey freezes.
Rey:
“Who?”
Pandey breathes shakily.
Then says—
Inspector Pandey:
“Ridhima.”
Silence.
Inspector Pandey:
“She attacked me.”
Another pause.
Inspector Pandey:
“She tried to kill me.”
Rey slowly steps backward.
Inspector Pandey:
“And I think she’s heading toward your house right now—”
The call suddenly cuts.
Dead silence.
Cheerag stares at Rey.
Cheerag:
“What did he say?”
Rey opens his mouth to answer—
Then—
CREEEEEAK.
A wooden sound echoes from upstairs.
Everyone slowly looks toward the staircase.
RIDHIMA’S ENTRY
At the top of the staircase—
A figure appears through the darkness.
Ridhima.
Slowly walking down.
Her face pale.
Eyes empty.
A gun hanging loosely in her hand.
The entire house goes silent.
Rey’s mother trembles.
Mom (softly):
“Ridhima… beta…?”
Rey slowly raises the gun toward her.
Fear consumes his face.
Rey:
“It’s you…”
His voice breaks.
Rey:
“You’re the killer.”
Ridhima opens her mouth—
As if she’s about to explain something.
Then suddenly—
WHIP—THUNK!
A butcher knife flies through the darkness.
And buries itself deep into Ridhima’s back.
Blood sprays across the staircase.
Ridhima collapses forward instantly.
Dead before she even hits the floor.
Rey’s mother screams.
Cheerag stumbles backward in horror.
Because now—
They finally see him.
THE RED MASK KILLER
Standing silently at the upper landing.
The red hood.
The red mask.
The dripping butcher knife.
Motionless.
Watching them like prey.
Then—
Slowly—
The killer begins walking down the staircase.
One step at a time.
Calm.
Patient.
Terrifying.
Cheerag quickly pulls Rey’s mother behind him.
Rey raises the gun with shaking hands.
The killer keeps descending.
Closer.
Closer.
Then suddenly—
FOOTSTEPS OUTSIDE.
Fast.
Heavy.
The front door bursts open violently.
INSPECTOR PANDEY ENTERS
Inspector Pandey rushes inside.
Sweating heavily.
Breathing hard.
Looking panicked.
Pandey:
“REY! GET AWAY FROM HIM—!”
Cheerag sees an opening.
Without thinking—
He grabs a knife nearby and charges toward the Red Mask Killer.
Then—
BANG!
A gunshot explodes through the house.
Cheerag screams and collapses.
Blood pours from his leg.
Rey turns in horror.
Inspector Pandey is holding the smoking gun.
Rey stares at him in disbelief.
Rey:
“WHAT THE HELL?!”
His voice shakes violently.
Rey:
“WHY DID YOU SHOOT HIM?!”
Inspector Pandey slowly raises the gun toward Rey.
Something about him changes completely.
The fear disappears from his face.
Now—
He looks calm.
Cold.
Empty.
Then—
He smiles.
A horrifying smile.
Inspector Pandey:
“Because, Rey…”
A pause.
Inspector Pandey:
“You’re aiming your gun at the wrong killer.”
The Red Mask Killer slowly walks toward Pandey—
And stops beside him.
Like partners.
Like they’ve done this before.
Rey’s mother gasps softly.
Rey’s entire body goes numb.
Pandey calmly reaches toward the Red Mask Killer’s face.
Then—
Slowly—
He begins removing the mask.
PRE-CLIMAX — THE FIRST UNMASKING
The Red Mask Killer slowly removes the mask.
And underneath—
Inspector Pandey.
The same face.
The same thick mustache.
But now—
His eyes feel dead.
Cold.
Empty.
Rey’s mother lets out a horrified scream.
Mom:
“P-Pandey…?!”
She stumbles backward in disbelief.
Rey feels completely numb.
His hands shake violently.
Rey:
“S-Sir…?”
His voice cracks.
Rey:
“You’re the killer…?”
Pandey slowly lifts the blood-covered knife.
Then smiles.
A calm, chilling smile.
The kind that makes the room feel colder.
SECOND KILLER REVEAL
Suddenly—
Another masked figure steps out from the shadows beside him.
Another red mask.
Another red cloak.
Pandey looks toward Rey with amusement.
Pandey:
“And guess who this is?”
Rey’s breathing becomes uneven.
His brain desperately searches for an answer.
Rey (whispering):
“Dad…?”
Pandey bursts into laughter.
Then—
The second figure removes the mask.
And Rey’s world stops.
Nancy.
His sister.
Standing there smiling beneath the mask.
Rey’s mother gasps in horror.
Cheerag nearly faints from shock and blood loss.
Nancy smirks proudly.
Nancy:
“So?”
She spreads her arms slightly.
Nancy:
“How was the twist?”
A dark laugh escapes her.
Nancy:
“No one imagined that I was the Red Mask Killer.”
Rey stares at her in complete disbelief.
Rey:
“You…”
His voice shakes.
Rey:
“You killed them?”
Nancy smiles wider.
Nancy:
“Yes.”
A pause.
Nancy:
“And I enjoyed every second of it.”
Rey’s mother begins crying.
Mom:
“You tried to kill us!”
Her voice breaks completely.
Mom:
“We’re your family!”
Nancy suddenly explodes in rage.
Nancy:
“SHUT UP!”
She immediately fires the gun.
BANG!
Rey instantly jumps forward and pushes his mother aside.
The bullet misses them narrowly.
Rey:
“NANCY!”
Nancy points the gun directly at him.
Nancy:
“Quiet, little brother.”
Pandey calmly walks beside her.
Almost proudly.
Pandey:
“Nancy…”
He smiles softly.
Pandey:
“Tell them the motive.”
A pause.
Pandey:
“Then we can kill them peacefully.”
NANCY’S MOTIVE — DARK REVEAL
Nancy slowly walks toward an old cupboard nearby.
Then opens it.
Inside—
Rey’s father is tied up and gagged.
Terrified.
Bruised.
Barely conscious.
Rey’s entire body freezes.
Rey:
“DAD!”
He tries stepping forward—
Nancy instantly raises the gun.
Nancy:
“Don’t.”
Her smile disappears.
Nancy:
“One more step and I kill him.”
Rey’s eyes fill with tears.
Rey:
“Nancy…”
His voice trembles.
Rey:
“He’s your father too…”
Nancy suddenly bursts into bitter laughter.
Nancy:
“Father?”
She points at Rey angrily.
Nancy:
“When I was three years old…”
A pause.
Nancy:
“You were born.”
Her expression softens for one brief second.
Nancy:
“And I was happy.”
Another pause.
Nancy:
“I finally had a little brother.”
Then her face twists with hatred again.
Nancy:
“But slowly…”
Her eyes lock onto Rey.
Nancy:
“You took EVERYTHING from me.”
Pandey watches silently from behind her.
Almost admiring her rage.
Nancy continues.
Nancy:
“When you turned ten, Mom and Dad got divorced.”
She points toward Rey’s mother.
Nancy:
“And Dad took YOU away.”
Her voice cracks with years of pain.
Nancy:
“But me?”
A bitter laugh.
Nancy:
“I stayed here.”
She slams her fist against the cupboard.
Nancy:
“I was thirteen!”
Tears begin forming in her eyes.
Nancy:
“People questioned ME.”
Nancy:
“I suffered because of THEIR mistakes!”
Rey’s mother cries harder.
Mom:
“Nancy, stop!”
She shakes her head desperately.
Mom:
“The divorce was OUR fault!”
Her voice breaks.
Mom:
“None of this was because of you two!”
But Nancy completely snaps.
Nancy:
“THE DAY DAD TOOK REY AWAY—”
She points directly at Rey.
Nancy:
“I started hating him.”
Silence fills the room.
Then—
Nancy smiles again.
A terrifying smile.
Nancy:
“I was never missing.”
A pause.
Nancy:
“I was planning everything.”
She slowly looks toward Pandey.
Nancy:
“And Pandey sir helped me.”
Pandey smirks proudly.
Cheerag stares at him in disgust.
Cheerag:
“You killed all these people for her?”
Pandey chuckles softly.
Pandey:
“Not lust.”
His smile grows darker.
Pandey:
“Love.”
A long pause.
Pandey:
“And honestly…”
His eyes become disturbingly calm.
Pandey:
“Killing them was fun.”
Rey’s rage finally explodes.
Tears stream down his face.
Rey:
“So that was the truth…”
He looks between Nancy and Pandey.
Rey:
“You both killed everyone.”
Then slowly—
He realizes why his father is still alive.
Rey:
“And Dad is alive because…”
Nancy finishes the sentence herself.
Nancy:
“Because I wanted to destroy your perfect family with my own hands.”
She steps closer to Rey.
Gun still pointed at him.
Her voice lowers into a hateful whisper.
Nancy:
“Because I really hate you…”
A pause.
Then—
Nancy:
“Little brother.”
POST CLIMAX
Nancy points the gun directly at Rey.
At the same time, Inspector Pandey grabs Rey’s father by the hair and holds a knife against his throat.
Pandey: “Rey… last warning. Put your hands down—”
Before he can finish—
BANG!
Rey quickly pulls out a hidden gun from his pocket and shoots Pandey in the head.
The bullet hits perfectly.
Pandey falls to the floor, dead instantly.
Nancy screams and starts firing wildly.
Cheerag jumps toward her and grabs her arm, trying to stop her.
But Nancy suddenly pulls out a butcher knife and slashes Cheerag’s hand badly.
Blood sprays everywhere.
Cheerag falls to the ground, screaming in pain.
Rey uses the chance to free his father.
He cuts the ropes quickly.
Rey: “Mom! Dad! Go upstairs! NOW!”
He rushes both of them into a locked room upstairs and blocks the door for safety.
Then Rey runs downstairs again.
Nancy is already aiming the gun at him.
Suddenly—
A weak hand grabs Nancy’s ankle.
It is Ridhima.
She is still alive, badly injured and covered in blood.
Using all her strength, she pulls Nancy down.
Nancy falls forward with a scream.
Rey takes the opportunity and rushes toward her, now sure that his parents are safe.
He fires at Nancy—
But she dodges the bullet like a wild animal.
Cheerag, bleeding heavily, picks up a large broken piece of glass and stabs it into Nancy’s face.
Nancy screams in pain and stumbles backward.
Rey quickly calls the police.
Rey: “POLICE! QUICK! Multiple people are injured—send everyone!”
He points the gun at Nancy.
But Nancy, still furious, pulls the glass shard out of her face and stabs Cheerag in the stomach with it.
Cheerag collapses.
Rey shouts in horror.
Nancy charges at Rey and slams him onto the floor.
She raises the butcher knife above his head.
Nancy: “BYE, LITTLE BROTHER—”
Before she can attack—
Rey grabs another broken glass shard lying nearby and slashes her throat with full force.
Nancy freezes.
She gasps for air.
Rey quickly grabs the fallen gun.
BANG!
He shoots Nancy in the head.
Nancy finally falls to the floor… dead.
Silence fills the house.
AFTERMATH — RESOLUTION
Police sirens echo outside as officers rush into the house.
Ambulances arrive one after another.
Ridhima is still alive, but barely.
Cheerag is badly injured, but alive too.
Rey’s mother and father come downstairs, shaken but safe.
The five survivors are taken into ambulances:
ReyRey’s MomRey’s DadCheeragRidhima
Inside the ambulance, Rey finally breaks down emotionally.
He hugs his father tightly.
Then he hugs his mother.
After that, he hugs Cheerag and Ridhima too — all of them exhausted, emotional, and grateful to be alive.
The camera slowly pulls back.
The flashing ambulance lights fade into the dark night.
