"Is it an Earthquake?"
Rain Hammered against the classroom windows in "Hwang-su Elite high school", making it difficult for the Teacher's Voice to be heard.
Half the students in Class 2-B were asleep anyway. The others were glued to their phones beneath the desks.
"Your Final exams are in Two weeks," Mrs.Se-ah, their Homeroom teacher said, Writing equations across the board. "If you fail now, Don't cry later".
A few tired laughs spread down the classroom.
Lee Hyun-jae, known as the school grass(most handsome and popular guy) stood up from his seat and walked outside after the teacher left the classroom.
The school bell rang for the recession time and everyone went out for break, the students were hanging around in the corridor, they couldn't go to the Field due to the heavy rain.
After the school bell rang, another bell rang few seconds later. It sounded just like the normal school bell, So no one payed attention to it.
The school had a nice environment and the weather was especially nice, except for the heavy rain.
Hyun-jae was staring blankly at a distance, because he seemed to have noticed some smokes fuming from the distant surroundings, when is Best friend, Park Su-min jumped from behind and hung his arm around Hyun-jae's neck, which caught him unaware.
"Hey, that startled me"!! Hyun-jae said with a surprised expression, although, he is already used to this his idiotic friend's behavior.
"Why are you spacing out? Were you looking at your crushhh?" Su-min said in a teasy tone while raising his eyebrows.
"What are you saying?! i already told you that i don't like her, stop trying to matchmake us" He said while pushing away Su-min's hand from his neck.
"You might not like her, but she definitely likes you, she is always glancing at you" Su-min said while side eyeing the girl they were talking about.
Ahn Chae-young, The School's Top student, came to inform Hyun-jae that the teacher asked to see him. Curious about what it was, Hyun-jae asked Chae-young to lead the way.
Note: "Yep, Chae-young might be the Top student, but don't picture him as a nerdy student who is always putting on an eyeglass🤓 due to over-reading or a guy with an ugly image He is also really handsome, but not like the School Grass, he also doesn't talk much.... That was just a little info about Chae-young, sorry for keeping you guys waiting, Let's go!!😚.
As they both turned to leave, the floor shaked heavily which made everyone panic. "What was that?" Hyun-jae asked curiously.
The shaking didn't stop, it felt like..."Is that an Earthquake?" Su-min asked with fear in his eyes, but no one could give him an answer to his question.
The floor was shaking heavily, which was not in contrast with the rain pouring down like a waterfall. The students had to hold the walls and anything strong nearby to hold them steady. No one knew what was happening, everyone tried to believe that it was an Earthquake.. But..was it really an Earthquake?!!
Note: This is not part of the story, I'm trying to put you guys in suspense. Quick question; What do you think will happen next? And if you liked this chapter, please tell me if I should continue or...😭 Just kidding
