Chapter 1 - kingdom Of Odeon

The city never slept beneath Odeon’s empire.

From the glass walls of the twenty-seventh floor, the lights of Kingston bled into the night like scattered diamonds beneath a black ocean. Expensive cars crawled through the streets below. Music pulsed from clubs. Money exchanged hands in silence. Power moved where fear existed.

And everyone feared him.

Odeon Vale stood before the towering window with one hand tucked into the pocket of his tailored black suit. Cold silver cufflinks rested against his wrists. Not a single strand of his dark hair was out of place.

Perfection mattered, Perfection was control.

The crystal glass between his fingers reflected the city lights as he slowly swirled the expensive whiskey inside. His expression remained unreadable, almost emotionless, but his mind was never quiet.

People were predictable.

Weak people lied.

Greedy people begged.

Disobedient people broke.

And Odeon hated broken things.

Behind him, two men waited in silence near the private lounge area of the nightclub penthouse. Neither dared to speak first. They knew the rules here.

No interruptions.

No unnecessary words.

No mistakes.

The velvet-black doors finally opened.

“Your guests have arrived, Mr. Vale.”

Odeon turned slowly.

Three familiar figures entered the VIP section surrounded by bodyguards, perfume, and wealth that screamed old family power.

Cassian Moreau walked first, carrying the arrogance of a man born with influence. His champagne-colored suit alone could pay someone’s yearly salary.

Beside him came Rafael Devereux, smiling lazily while two women clung to his arms like jewelry.

And last came Lucien Hart, quiet and unreadable beneath the dim lights.

Three wealthy heirs.

Three dangerous families.

Three men the city worshipped.

But even among monsters, Odeon remained the one people whispered about in fear.

The music below thundered through the nightclub floors while dancers moved beneath flashing crimson lights. Wealthy elites drank away scandals in hidden corners. Politicians laughed beside criminals. Models smiled for men they secretly hated.

This was Odeon’s kingdom.

A kingdom built on obedience.

Cassian loosened his tie as he approached the private seating area. “You disappeared for almost three weeks.”

“Business,” Odeon answered flatly.

Rafael smirked. “Business or obsession?”

Silence.

That alone was enough to erase Rafael’s smile.

Lucien leaned back against the leather sofa, observing carefully. “Someone caught your attention.”

Odeon said nothing.

But his eyes shifted.

Downward.

Toward the lower level of the nightclub.

Toward her.

The girl stood near the bar wearing a simple cream-colored dress completely out of place among glittering luxury. No diamonds. No designer labels. No fake confidence like the others surrounding her.

She looked innocent.

Untouched.

Lost.

And worst of all…

Obedient.

Odeon’s grip tightened slightly around his glass.

“There she is,” Rafael muttered after noticing his stare.

Cassian followed his gaze and gave a low whistle. “She doesn’t belong here.”

“No,” Odeon said quietly.

His dark eyes never left her.

“She belongs somewhere else.”

The words sent a strange silence through the room.

Because they all understood what Odeon meant.

Once something interested him…

It became his.

Below, the girl laughed softly at something her friend whispered, completely unaware of the predator watching from above.

Completely unaware that the most dangerous man in the city had already chosen her.

Odeon slowly set his whiskey glass down.

“Find out her name.”
