to all the girls who put up walls.
Prologue:

I can still see her body. The life she almost lived. It’s all I can see at night. Sometimes, when I close my eyes, I can still see her horrified face.
The knowing look as I stabbed her, blood splattering on my black shirt. That was the time I learned that black hides the blood. She didn’t expect me to do it; I proved her wrong.
I didn’t want to murder the girl, but she forced my hand. She hurt me. Now, she’s so deep in the ground that no one will ever hear her scream again.
