Upon the sky

“ Emery hurry up or your gonna be late” my mom shouted from downstairs “ i’m coming” i yelled back as i finished fixing up my hair. Today is my frist day at a new school and im actually pretty nervous about it especially making new friends thats the hardest part “ Emery for the love of everything please come on” i heard my mom yell. I quickly ran downstairs and greeted my parents “ good morning my beautiful parents” i said giving both of them a hug “ good morning son” my dad greets back “ morning Em” my mother greeted as she gives me a peice of toast “ excited bout your frist day?” Dad asks “ yeah kinda of nervous though” I replied “ aww honey don’t be “ my mother sais y me a hug “ you’ll be fine” she added i take a deep breath and relax a little “ your right” i w smiling “ now lets get u to school before your late” my dad says

Ok so like not to freak out or anything but im super nervous. We pulled up to the school and thats when my nerves sky rocketed “ well here we are champ” my dad says i look at the school and its big like bigger then my old school. I say bye to my parents and got out of the car “ ok Emery you got this all you have to do is find the principals office.” I whispered to myself which shouldnt be that hard right?

Worng, it was that w after walking around for what seemed to be forever i finally found it and ur probably like ‘ well Emery you could’ve js asked someone’ haha no i dont do good with talking to strangers so yeah i was kinda scared, you can call me whatever you want but just know some people scare me.

After going to the principals office and receiving my schedule i made my way to 1st period and again i got lost but I managed to finally find it “ ok Emery just knock” i told myself, i took a couple of deep breaths before knocking. After a few knocks someone finally answered and i walked in “ oh u must me a new student” who I presume is the teacher said “ o-oh yeah” I stuttered “ ok class listen up we have a new student joining us every please make him feel welcomed” the teacher said “ would you like to introduce yourself?” she asked “ i-i rather not” i whispered “ oh come on you can do it” the teacher said while smiling ‘why ask if your js gonna w me do it ‘i thought to myself i let out a breath then spoke “ h-hi my names Emery but you can call me Em”, and with that i sat down.

Tiring, thats what today is i kept getting lost and who knew teachers can give out so much work like jeez i promise the work is not going to run away, they be handing out work like ther life depends on it, at least its lunch time i think to myself . I spend lunch doing some homework and your probably like ‘homework on your frist day?’ Yes i told you these teachers anit playing, the bell rings singling that lunch is over t I already knew the rest of the day is going to be so long.
