Remember to smile
in the tough times
and the heartbreaks—
at least try to smile.
It’s only a moment,
even if it stays for a while.
The pain of a heartbreak
feels heavy, feels strong,
but day by day
it won’t last as long.
You’ll heal slowly,
even if it’s not clear,
and one day it’ll fade—
just a memory here.
I know it’s hard
to put yourself out there,
to risk being seen
and feel like they don’t care.
Rejection cuts deeper
than we like to admit,
but the truth is—
you didn’t quit.
You tried.
And that means something.
Even if that person
left when you least expected,
even if it hurt
and you felt rejected—
just like that,
out of the blue,
someone will come
and see all of you.
So smile, always—
even if it’s small.
You’re beautiful,
inside and all.
The past is behind you,
don’t stay there too long.
Keep moving forward—
that’s where you belong.
