Sunrise FULL SHORT STORY
Hey, it’s Kai Draven. I know—shocking, right? The last time you probably heard about me was in the King’s book Eclipse Protocol.
I’m hoping this will be published as a Part 2, but this time there’s something different hidden inside. This book actually contains a secret message about the King.
I’m going to try to get it published through my small town’s local library. And to everyone reading this: get ready to hear the truth about your King.
Chapter 1: Data Drive
First, I want to tell you about the whole Data Drive situation. The Data Drive was a movie project that contained important information about a war that happened a long time ago. It was information that the King wanted to keep between him and me, but instead, he made it seem like every secret was hidden on it.
Chapter 2: Mom and Dad
My mom and dad mean the world to me, and the whole depressing plot twist about them was a lie. There was a small house fire when I was 8 years old. It was so small you could have put it out with an ice cube. It was just a minor cooking accident.
So yes, my parents are fine, and they always have been. He made a fictional story about real people and called it a masterpiece.
Chapter 3: Justin and the War
Justin does not exist. I have a friend named Jason, and he never disappeared. Jason is a good friend, and I see him every week. I have for as long as I can remember.
The whole situation about the war and the weapon testing did happen, but I never went to the King about it. My parents and I were very confused when the book was released. You cannot spy on people and create a fake story for your own popularity. That is wrong.
Chapter 4: The Door
This story will be short compared to the King’s book, because I have already covered almost everything except for the door. The King tried to make himself look good by “releasing” my parents, but it was all a lie.
Chapter 5: A Message for the King
To: The King
From: Kai Draven
I know you remember me from your famous story, and I just wanted to say that I am not afraid.
The sun is rising. It is time to wake up to reality, because what you did was wrong.
I have to live with being looked at as a miserable young man who lost everything. You made my parents seem gone forever. You made people believe that I had lost my childhood friend for years.
I want you to know that I do forgive you, but you were very, very wrong.
And again, remember this:
The sun is rising, so wake up.
