Summary

Elliot Kingston is your typical high school loner. He doesn’t really have friends—not because people hate him, but because he’s just… quiet. And Elliot likes it that way. He spends most of his time reading on his Kindle, sketching in his notebook, or just napping. He loves the fact that no one really notices his existence, and he fully intends to coast under the radar until graduation. ​Of course, senior year means group projects, and Elliot thought he was prepared for the worst. That is, until his teacher pairs him up with none other than Kalani Nedaya. ​As the school sweetheart, Kalani is the complete opposite of Elliot. She is loved by everyone, incredibly bubbly, sweet, and… everything he is not. Elliot is convinced they are totally mismatched and wants nothing more than to just get this project over and done with. ​What Elliot doesn't know is that Kalani has been secretly crushing on him for months, and she sees this assignment as her golden opportunity.
