Synopsis

Carmela Hale was the daughter of General Leonard Hale, the Emperor’s most trusted confidant. The Emperor, who had no daughter, treated Carmela as his own and invited her to nearly every royal event. Behind his kindness was a plan: he wanted Carmela to marry his son, Cassian Everhart.
