This work is number 2 of a trilogy describing Séverine’s life in three stages.

After the painful separation of Mike and his partner for a cause quite independent of his affair with Séverine, he left France. The mother settled in the south of France, leaving her daughter in the Paris region at the mercy of the first newcomer. The adventure for Séverine, in comparison to what she knew previously, was a true psychological regression. The lifestyle had disappeared with Mike. Séverine, several times disillusioned by the men with whom she tried to share her daily life, lived a difficult and austere life, subsisting only through social welfare. Mike tried vainly several times to maintain the connection, destroying the barriers placed between them by the mother, who was anxious that one day he might reveal to her who she really was. After fifteen years had passed, he managed to gradually reestablish contact with Séverine. During his stay in France and having heard of her mental and social distress, he wished to see her again, a feeling that Séverine shared as well. During these years away from his country, Mike amassed a considerable fortune and had the idea one day to offer a chance to the one who did not have the opportunity to seize it. The following morning, he went to the indicated address and entered the building until he found himself in front of the apartment door. It was with a certain emotion that he pressed the doorbell. A few moments later, the door opened and he found the one with whom he had shared so much. Both embraced for a long moment, letting tears of joy appear. She was still the same, her features even softer were marked by the suffering that life imposed on her. She began her story while offering him a coffee, detailing each successive stage leading her to the bottom of the ladder. Although he was in no way responsible for this situation, he was pained to see into what abyss she had plunged. Far from the capital, her relationships were limited essentially to her immediate environment, mindsets at the complete opposite of hers, she who had lived in a heavenly universe. She was still in pajamas and absented herself for a few moments to take a shower and get dressed. Mike pointed out to her that she had become even more seductive due to her maturity, sublimating the character. She told him her conjugal adventures, very disappointed to meet only men interested in her physical appearance, who after having obtained what they desired disappeared into nature, beings not corresponding at all to her profile and her expectations. Having the memory with Mike of having rubbed shoulders with the “University of the senses”, she felt like she was back in a kindergarten class without any interest. She came back to him not yet totally dressed, she knelt down and took him in her arms, holding him very tight. Mike proposed to her to pack a suitcase, informing her that she was his guest for the weekend with an immediate departure. They went to a very beautiful castle located in the Paris region that he had previously reserved. Séverine was surprised to find this luxurious decor that she had never had the opportunity to see for so many years. Beginning their lunch, she confided to him that she had not been to a restaurant for more than a year. After a meal in cheerfulness and good humor, with wine for the occasion, they both found themselves in the suite, lying on the bed and letting themselves go to confidences. Mike asked her what her professional projects were, at least if she had any. Not having pursued higher education, it was difficult for her to find a job worthy of the name and she found herself many times affected by the tasks entrusted to her. She contented herself with living day to day, praying that the following day would always be better than the previous one. She confessed to him that she was still the same, keeping the same state of mind and the same philosophy of life. Although she could not realize her dreams, the “scriptwriter-director” passion she shared with Mike yesterday was still present today, and she dreamed of being able one day to recreate this universe of pleasures around her. The volcano was dormant but far from extinct! Séverine quickly recovered her lucidity of yesteryear; in a few hours the character metamorphosed to become again who she was, the transition was surprising. Mike had the idea of creating an associative circle allowing Séverine to find an activity within her capabilities. They granted themselves a moment of relaxation by the pool, while Séverine went to the fitness club right next door, quickly striking up a conversation with the instructor, who was unoccupied at this hour of the afternoon. Mike noticed very quickly the increasingly intimate character of the gymnastics directed by the instructor. Taking a dip in the pool, he lost sight of them. After a short while, he went to look for Séverine and found her in the sauna in very good company. He withdrew discreetly without being seen and went back to his deckchair. She then returned to the pool, confiding to Mike that she had made the acquaintance of the instructor, a very nice, handsome boy, and that she wished to invite him in the evening after dinner for a drink. Mike did not oppose it, knowing he would take the opportunity to ask him a few professional questions. Pursuing his idea of an associative circle, he browsed the net in search of a real estate opportunity and came across an exceptional offer. It was possible for him to acquire a beautiful contemporary villa put up for sale or rent. They prepared for dinner, Séverine wearing a short, low-cut outfit that highlighted her sculptural shapes and her long legs. During dinner, Séverine, bold by nature, engaged in a complicit game of glances with a very distinguished couple sitting at a neighboring table, who kept staring at her from head to toe. Going to the restroom during dinner, Mike observed the man also heading toward the restroom, following right behind Séverine while leaving his wife alone at the table. There was nothing extraordinary there. When evening came, the sports instructor presented himself at the door of the suite, allowing them to get to know each other more fully and intimately over a drink. Mike took the opportunity to suggest his idea of forming an associative club and to get his opinion regarding the interest that the wealthy clientele of the castle in which they were staying might eventually have. Benefiting from excellent communication with the female clientele of the hotel, Hans the instructor confirmed to him with certainty that this project coincided perfectly with what the clientele was looking for, the vast majority dreaming of finding this kind of circle and avoiding public places. After a night of cheerfulness, awakened by the phone, Mike and Séverine got up hurriedly. Séverine omitted to tell him that at the end of her meeting the day before at the exit of the restroom, it had been agreed with the couple to have breakfast together around 10 o’clock. It was thus that Mike and Séverine made the acquaintance of a delightful, very nice couple, both moving in the milieu of “high-level” public relations, possessing very thick address books. During this very colorful breakfast, Mike took the opportunity to briefly present his project, which was welcomed with very strong approval. The couple immediately declared themselves interested in promoting the idea through their immense relational network. Mike decided to materialize his project and purchased this villa in which, after some development work, the circle would be installed. During the work and after some adventures as comical as they were unexpected, Claire and Carl, the couple, invited them to a private party organized in their villa, an opportunity to present their project to their friends and guests. This wild evening offered Mike the opportunity to make new acquaintances with true information connectors, exclusively favoring this clientele. Séverine, recovering her true nature, indulged in several successive adventures until the opening of the circle, taking the opportunity to perfect her education in areas she did not know. One of the participants in this evening and a close friend of Carl and Claire proposed to them to organize a private evening for a princely couple from the Middle East passing through France, according to specifications planned and defined in advance. The evening was spectacularly successful, Séverine winning the deep and sincere friendship of the princely couple. Séverine had become this character Mike dreamed of so much, radiant with happiness. All that was left was to organize the inaugural evening!
