A Heart-Wrenching Masterpiece of Raw Contrast and True Resilience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
""PANACEA" is a phenomenal story that completely hooks the reader right from the very first page! The author captures a brilliant, striking contrast by framing two completely different worlds in parallel the grim, drug-ridden despair of Jabeo village and the suffocating luxury of Eva's golden cage. The protagonist, Rumi Shah, is an incredibly well-crafted visionary who isn't just a natural genius, but a girl forged through past trauma and her grandfather's fierce, bitter "Sael" lessons. Her cold composure against the street loafers versus her playful "slipper-threatening" warmth around her inner circle (Toshi, Sunny, Vicky, Wren) makes her character feel profoundly human and real. Toshi’s unconditional, fierce devotion to her and the sharp, punchy dialogue bring a beautiful texture to the narrative. The plot is tightly woven, full of mystery, and ends on absolute cliffhangers that force you to keep reading. A beautifully cinematic and emotional masterpiece! Kudos to the author!"
A complex story
"Rumi is determined to make a difference in the world, in regard to drug addiction, so that others don’t end up the same way her father did. Is she going to succeed? And how will she do it? That’s the mystery we want to discover in this author’s book. The story is very well written, the suspense and the shock of certain chapters keep you glued to the story and makes you yearning for more. I like the equilibrium between the drug related scenes and those of Rumi’s friends from the village."
A remarkable plot twist
"The author is a fantastic writer, who started us off with a chapter that made us glued to her story. It is very articulate and with a lot of suspense that you don't know what will unfold next. Keep up🤗 I'll be back if she gets even more deserving reviews...this is a gem👌💯"
Brilliant Subversion of Expectations
"The author deserves immense praise for the structure of this novel. Each chapter is meticulously crafted to maximize suspense and drive the plot forward. The subversion of expectations in the opening chapter is particularly striking, building up Rumi Roy as the central figure only to execute a sudden demise creates an immediate hook. Following that up with her survival in Next Chapter was a brilliant narrative choice that kept me completely off-balance. At its core, the narrative of a solitary woman challenging an entire system to uproot a drug racket is deeply compelling. I look forward to discovering how the author resolves this gripping story."
The Cost of the Cure!
"Charismatic Rumi Roy, the young visionary behind Verdelis Pharmaticus, shocks the world when she exposes a vast corporate conspiracy and apparently takes her own life during a livestream watched by millions. I could say more about the plot, but I don’t want to spoil the first of many surprises that author Saher J. has in store for her readers. Let me just add that nothing is as it seems, and Rumi may be far more than the tragic whistleblower she first appears to be. I liked how the story raises interesting questions about truth, accountability, and whether great innovations can ever justify unethical actions. This is an interesting and bold thriller that encourages the reader to think about the consequences of challenging evil corporations, and the rewards for doing so. "
Review
"When I dived into this story, I thought it was going to be one with another weak woman but I saw how Rumi was written and I thought, There is my lead but then she died and I was left aghast because I thought she was the main character but then she came alive, the plot twists in this book gave me a whiplash. I love it and cannot wait for more updates. "
