Introduction
To whoever read this -if it ever meets the light-,
My name is Mila from the great land of Pacificus. What is in your hands now is a part of a story I am living that started unexpectedly and I am whispering to you, stranger about it.
If you’d like to picture me; I am of more or less just the average height. I have long black hair as dark as a starless night, brown round eyes and snow-like skin. I do not typically look like ‘icers’ because I am a mixed child, but wait… You do not know what these are, do you?
I am a dreamy person, and I’d like to fantasize that these letters will eventually fall into someone’s hands, maybe even a normal human -hopefully like yourself- living in the legendary “Human realm”. So, if you are one of those, I urge you to pay close attention to what I am going to explain next.
My realm is different from yours, I don’t really know how this might have reached you but somehow I know it just might. In our realm we live on the planet called “Earth”, but we have too many races, not like yours, those are only different in color and physical features but our races are way more different.
For example, I belong to a race called “The Icers”. We have this distinct ability of creating ice out of thin air. We can use the water droplets around us to our benefit and turn them into ice.
Then we have the “Fires”, which you can really conclude how they work as well. As opposed to us, they like warm temperatures. In fact, my people and the fiery ones have many contradictions, I can kill babies of the fire nation just by being around them.
Look, if I was really going to describe every detail about my realm in this short intro, it will not be so short. So, I am just giving you what you can start with, I’ll add more details to my story for you, my bland friend, I promise. Maybe I can even draw some illustrations so you can imagine what I mean.
You need to know that we have many nations, many kingdoms, many lands, and so many races and many more creatures.
But like your races, it’s really rare to find anyone with a pure race nowadays, except for the royal family of the fire nation and the noble families who marry into it. They do have some strict rules about the royal fires. Anyways, races got mixed resulting in new races, or the race with a stronger gene dominated, it all really depends.
And much like your world, we have some lands, like mine for instance, where many races live harmoniously (at least most of the time), while in other countries, a specific ethnic group makes up for most of the population.
What you may have called myth before, you might find it here, after all we call your world a myth as well.
So, my half mythical friend, let’s get this journey started. Shall we?
