"This story makes me feel seen. I could only dream of a situation like Sammy-Jo’s. I’ve had my own experiences similar to hers and wear similar “armor” in my every day life. It’s helping me grow stronger the further I get in the story. I rarely cry while reading, but have found myself shedding tears as I connect with the characters here. "

"The plot is great but the characters are too extreme for my taste. The female character is borderline caustic especially when reprimanding her boss in public, though she is lovely overall. The male character seems to become emotionally more balanced through receiving caustic remarks. Overall, i found the theme fantastic and real. The writing is great and kept me hooked. "
