Preface: Beck

“I was always told that you don’t want to judge a hero by his skill with a sword and his looks like a god, but by his loyalty to his subjects. A true hero is someone willing to make any sacrifice to save their country from destruction, no matter how idiotic the enemy is. He has to be prepared for injury, loss of trust, and maybe even death. He understands the consequences, but does he ever give up? No, because that’s how much he loves his country.

Over time, his stories may go down in legend, and humanity may clandestinely think that maybe they don’t need him anymore, but under the mask, they’re screaming. Their secret has been revealed. They believe they are not at peace and want him to return.

The world isn’t perfect. There must always be a hero. The enemy always returns, and when they do, that’s when a pupil has to stand up for themselves, become the new hero, and keep the legend in sync.

Unfortunately, some legends die, others strive, but the legend of Majestic Man is a different story.”
