Chapter 1
The summer heat hung heavy over the suburbs, thick enough to taste, as eighteen-year-old Elena stepped out onto the sun-drenched pavement. She moved with a casual, swaying confidence that drew eyes from every passing car. With her deep, rich brunette hair cascading in loose waves down her back and her piercing, ice-blue eyes catching the glare of the afternoon sun, she looked like she had been sculpted specifically for the season. Her silhouette was striking—defined by a curvaceous frame that boasted generous, heavy breasts straining against the thin fabric of her top, and thick, toned thighs that made every stride look like a deliberate provocation.
Her choice of attire was barely there, designed more for the display of skin than for any practical purpose. She wore a cropped, white ribbed tank top that clung to her chest like a second skin, cut so short that it left her midriff entirely bare and struggled to contain her curves. Paired with this were ultra-low-rise, distressed denim cut-offs that barely grazed the tops of her thighs, leaving the rest of her legs entirely exposed to the sweltering air. Her feet were slipped into thin, strappy leather sandals, and a small, gold chain dangled around her ankle, catching the light as she walked toward her best friend’s house.
The house, a sprawling suburban oasis, was already pulsing with the bass of a pop anthem leaking from the backyard. Elena didn’t bother with the front door; she navigated the side gate, her heartbeat quickening in anticipation.
The backyard was a sanctuary of blue water and manicured grass. Her friend, Chloe, was already lounging on a chaise, looking equally ready for the heat. Elena wasted no time. She stripped off the denim, revealing a scandalous two-piece bikini beneath. The top was little more than two flimsy, neon-pink triangles held together by strings that seemed perilously thin, barely covering the swell of her chest. The matching bottoms were high-cut, sitting dangerously low on her hips and vanishing into a micro-thong cut in the back that accentuated the curve of her backside and the fullness of her thighs.
“You’re late,” Chloe teased, sipping a cold drink.
“Traffic was hell,” Elena laughed, diving into the pool with a splash that sent cool droplets across the patio.
As the sun began to dip toward the horizon, casting a golden, hazy glow over the backyard, Elena pulled her phone from her bag. With a mischievous grin, she began tapping out messages, sending invites to the neighborhood’s most notorious heartthrobs. She didn’t want a quiet swim; she wanted an audience.
“I told the guys we’re hosting,” Elena said, surfacing from the water and wringing out her hair, the fabric of her bikini clinging even tighter to her skin. “I figured it’s way too hot for us to be out here by ourselves.”
Within twenty minutes, the sound of a roaring engine signaled the first arrival. Elena watched, a satisfied smirk on her face, as the gate opened and the first of the boys stepped into the yard, his eyes immediately locking onto her as she leaned back against the edge of the pool, fully aware of the picture she made. The party was just beginning, and she intended to make sure no one left before the sun went down.
